Harter House — Local services in Hollister

OK first let me just say I'm a local that comes in and does ALL yes ALL of my shopping here, well today after work me my husband and my 4 year old son (who is autistic non verbal and adhd) went in to do my grocery shopping, well we got up to the cashier SHERIN and I started to put my things on the belt, well unfortunately my son was having a meltdown over something which is actually hard enough to have to go through because his are not your standard toddler tantrums he's a sweet little boy but sometimes he has his attitude and days yes I realize it doesn't excuse bad behavior but it is something that is being worked on well he was on meltdown mode still I was unsuccessful trying to calm him and just wanted to finish up and leave as fast as I could and SHERIN had his bag of donuts ringing them up and was saying to my son that she would throw them away, I told my son to say sorry but of course he still was having his meltdown and he did say it but I heard her say you didn't mean it then towards the end of the transaction she really drew the line with me and randomly told me "we have a bathroom over there" so basically that's low key telling me to go spank/hit my son sorry but I can't do that I have to use other methods of discipline!! I did call after I left and spoke with the front end supervisor she apologized for the situation and told me she wasn't going to put up with that and she was going to deal with it I can only hope that was true and that something was at least said also its not the first time I've come in and felt uncomfortable because of an employees reaction to my son it honestly puts me in an extremely uncomfortable position like I need to go into defense mode every time I go in now or better yet not even go in at all I know that it probably doesn't matter to whoever but me and my family are to the point we don't want to ever come back unless absolutely necessary for something so SHERIN incase you somehow see this a word of advice next time don't intervene and recommend someone to spank their child or threaten to throw their things away that only contributes to the already going problem learn to do your job and keep your arrogant mouth shut oh and next time a pleasant greeting and smile wouldn't hurt I hope you...

meat department at Harter House in Hollister would say they could take a meat bundle order anytime as long as you gave them 24 hours notice.They would then say you could pick it up during the week or over the weekend and then the next month they would say they don't do meat bundles on the weekend. Then the next month they would be back to they do meat bundle but the next month they were back to saying they don't do meat bundles on the weekend. Then the one who said he was one of the meat department managers was rude to me on the phone. This is how they treat there customers and for 10 years they have told my family they would fix and deal with this problem and give them another chance. I would not recommend useing the meat department at Harter House in Hollister because i will not be going there again because i am done being nice about...

I really enjoyed shopping at this store. One thing that caught my eye was when you buy grapes they are sealed so you're not buying grapes that someone has already eat out of the package. That was a big big plus for my produce department. The service was fantastic they would help you find products at you could not find or you were not familiar with were to look for them plus the cash register people were wonderful very very polite. I would recommend this store to anyone. As for my family it's the best in the Hollister...
