I recently had the pleasure of dining at El Poblano Mexican Restaurant for lunch, and I must say, it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. To begin with, the tortilla chips were incredibly fresh, setting the tone for a delightful meal. We started with the Choriqueso, which was simply delicious, with the perfect blend of flavors and a creamy texture that left us wanting more. For our main course, we opted for the carne asada tacos, and they were nothing short of amazing. The meat was perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection, providing a mouthwatering taste that I highly recommend to anyone visiting El Poblano. Overall, El Poblano Mexican Restaurant offers a fantastic dining experience with exceptional food and great service. I highly recommend giving it a try!

The food at this restaurant is absolutely the best I have ever tasted. The waiter told me about the special "burrito birria", and I thought it sounded good. My son also ordered it. It was a toasted burrito with beef, beans, cheese and vegetables served with a dipping cup of the, "consumé" juices that the beef was cooked in earlier that day. He said his headache went away immediately after one bite. We took dramatic pictures of each other dipping our burrito in the sauce. We talked about the amazing meal for the rest of the night and off and on the next day. I insist you try it if you have the means.

Excellent customer service, delicious Mexican food and atmosphere. They had $2.99 margaritas on National Margarita Day 🥳 Follow their FB page for specials. They have a spicy salsa, the tamales are on point and I highly recommend the garlic shrimp. Just switch out the veg for frijoles. Did I mention Taco Tuesday? #carnitas update: 4th year Anni for El Poblano - Excellent specials including $1.99 house margaritas and shots of tequila, $2.50 draft beer. Amazing Cinco De Mayo Special #carneasada Cheers! 🍹 Update: the botanas app is delicious and toddler approved 😋 👌

LINDA. LISTEN. This is some of the best Mexican food I've had, almost ever. My husband and I were lucky enough to be here when they had birria tacos as the special. I will say, this was out first visit but we will be back again and again. The service was no frills, we got everything we needed and were not left unattended. These. Tacos. Tho. Crispy inside and out, cheese pull with every bite. Holy I pray to these tacos now. The tamale or Tamal as they call it...I'll be honest, when they brought the plate and the tamale was already unwrapped, I got a bit nervous. I'm used to the tamale in the husk, like a present you get to unwrap at your table. But dear good tamale God if I could have theirs everytime, I will. So moist and semi sweet, the filling so pull happy, at this point I needed a bib. The prices are more than reasonable. If you have more than 6, I would recommend at least calling on the way so they have time to pull tables together but we saw it, party of 16 handled flawlessly with a full restaurant. I don't know what they're doing here but good tamale birria taco margarita hot salsa God,...

After eating here for years, dine-in and take out, I will absolutely NEVER give this company another dollar! The quality of the food has gotten terrible. They wouldn't provide two salsas if you can even call that tomato sauce concoction that, even though I had ordered two meals. I was told the one that I was given was larger than what would've been served at a table. If I had dined in, we each would've had our own salsa and more if needed. What a terrible argument to make with a customer when I just spent $41 on food and gave a tip for basically doing nothing but putting food into bags and they couldn't do two salsas for two people! They sure used to do it! Let me tell you all, the flavor is just not there anymore. The refried beans had absolutely no flavor and the "salsa" was nothing more than tomato sauce with a chili powder kinda flavor added to it. Just horrible! There are way too many other quality Mexican restaurants to eat at in Branson/Hollister area and I can't wait to try them out because El...

I used to love going here, because the food is usually pretty good, but the lady time I was here they had rotten lettuce on the tacos and didn't even offer to comp or discoumt the rotten tacos.

We have been coming here twice a week for months, but lately they just can't keep up with all the tourists. They food has gone down hill and the servers are strrssed and rude.

The tables are super cramped together and they sit everyone right next to each other even when the restaurant is nearly empty. I asked not to be seated by the register one day, because I hate sitting in the middle of the line to pay with people standing right on me while I eat. This is not an exaggeration. If there is more than one person standing there to lay then you will be sitting in the line at this table.

I'll no longer be eating here, because if they have more than a couple of tables full than the whole place falls apart and the staff becomes rude...
