Not a good experience. They seem too busy. Today, I called to check the status of my prescriptions, and only one was mentioned by the automated system when I should have had two, so I needed to confirm what happened. I waited on hold 25 minutes to talk to the pharmacy, and no one picked up. Usually the system says how many callers are waiting, and it didn't this time. I hung up and called the front, because I wasn't sure if the phone system was broken.
The front refused to check with the pharmacy to determine if there were issues with the phone system or if they were just busy at the moment. I said I was fine with calling back if they were busy but needed to understand it wasn't an issue with the phone system. He refused to help and said all he could do was send me back to wait on hold. I can't wait on hold all day during my workday. I tried to explain the situation, and he proceeded to argue and put me back on hold without warning.
I hung up and called back, and asked to speak to the manager. He said the employee can't leave the front, which that's fair, but he could page to check, which was never offered. I've had some challenges with this place being too busy in the past (long hold times, long lines, out of prescriptions), so I asked to cancel the prescription and asked to be sent a text confirmation once it was done, so I knew when my provider could request it elsewhere. He agreed, but I never received a confirmation. To be fair, the manager was much more professional than the first person I spoke to, but now I'm forced to call back again.
I called back and wait on hold, two separate times, for probably an additional 20-25 minutes. No one picked up, and I was forced to drive to the store just to confirm the prescriptions were canceled. It was now too late to reorder the prescriptions to another pharmacy today, and I needed to wait until tomorrow. I explained the issues I had today to the person at the drive-thru window, and they were completely unapologetic. They also gave no information why one of the two prescriptions was canceled, just saying it wasn't in the system so it must have been.
This wasn't my first bad experience with this place. This store has the worst customer service I've ever experienced at a pharmacy, a place in charge with providing medications to people that rely on them. It's unacceptable. I shouldn't be forced to drive to the store just to get in contact. It was also very telling how unapologetic the pharmacy was about the experience. I won't be coming back, and the other reviews confirm this isn't a corner case.
Go to Holly Springs Pharmacy. The customer service is...
Read moreAbsolutely terrible!!! After 10 years of having the same meds at the same pharmacy. Same address. My drivers license was a week out of date. The DMV had to make me an appt in 3 weeks. I have paperwork explaining this. I didn’t have this issue 2 days ago!!
Last night. After having a 4 hour surgery. Which was obvious due to the antibiotics and pain meds prescribed. As well as the condition of my jaw - pretty obvious it had been damaged. Absolutely refused to give me my meds. Yes. I understand the “legal” formalities - there is also a “human caring” situation. This is where you actually CAN do the right thing. It’s called being kind and human. Knowing someone is suffering and turning them away is disgraceful. Absolutely appalling!! I am not new to this pharmacy or address.
However. They had ZERO problem handing over a controlled substance to a stranger who was 16 with ID. MY medicine was handed to a teenager. Who didn’t live at the address and certainly didn’t have my name.
Absolutely disgraceful. I will never recommend this pharmacy - add insult to injury. I was accused of asking to leave their premises for asking people for money!!!!!!!! Which I promise you. I was NOT doing. I am an established businesswoman and because I looked rough from surgery they “assumed” this happened.
My son was also accused a year ago of stealing from them. Held in the store. And they searched him. He had nothing at all!!! They searched him without permission. Go to Walmart! Anywhere is better than this place. I should have learnt my lesson when they searched my son. I will never go back again. And I will be reporting...
Read moreWe have given this Walgreens multiple chances but always the same terrible service. We have decided to transfer to CVS. Read the reviews. No wonder more than half of their reviews are 1 star. When you call the pharmacy no one ever answers. If they do you are put on an immediate hold for 30 + minutes if they return at all. A couple of weeks ago I went thru the drive thru. There were 2 cars in front of me and the wait was about 10 minutes. When I pulled up to the window it was 7:55 and as I was looking at the young woman in the window, she shut the blinds indicating they were closed. I went inside to complain to the store manager and he explained the employees in the pharmacy determine when they close. I called for the pharmacy manager, Samuel, the next day to complain and he never returned my call. The latest, my wife stopped by the drive thru to pick up her prescription. When she got home she realized she did not receive her credit card and drivers license back. They were closed for the night so we went back the next day. The manager told us my wife must have lost them, that they did not have them. His employee either lost/misplaced them or stole them. Samuel told us to cancel the credit card and go get a new license, then walked away, insisting his employee did nothing wrong and said she did return them. When I tried to continue the conversation he threatened to call the police on me. My family will never use...
