Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Holly Springs

(Oct 2023) Ordered pizza because we believe in second chances. It was supposed to be half pepperoni and sausage. It ended up being two pieces of pepperoni, overloaded with a revolting aromatic sausage with half of the pizza being all huge air bubbles and crust. It was absolutely disgusting 🤮. What a huge waste of money. I don't know how this place stays open. (Feb 2022) Ordered a pizza tonight. We ordered it to be Well Done, the cheese was still in grated form, slightly melted, the dough was pretty much raw. We actually had to finish baking the pizza before we could eat it. Talk about going down hill. Do not patronize this location. If there was an option to give Zero or Negative Stars, I would. (May 2021) Just ordered a pizza last night. The online process was great. Young lady behind the counter very professional very nice. I reminded her the last two times we ordered it was wrong. She then spoke to the kitchen staff and reminded them to be accurate, that the order needs to be right. She did that as a courtesy. Appreciated. (July2020) Well, it was wrong again! I asked the manager to make it right and she snapped attitude saying, "It will take another 30 minutes. I don't know what you want from me." I told her to refund me the cost of the extra cheese and we'll be even. With the full dramatics of a flustered teenager, she did just that. I will never come back to this location as long it's directed with this type of "management". The pizza was....eh, okay, at best. Not worth $12 by any stretch. Sorry. Third strike. You're out! Had a weird experience here. We had a power outage last night, so we placed a delivery order online. After over an hour, the online tracker said the order had come out of the oven, but had been stuck at the "preparation for delivery" stage for the last 50 minutes. I tried to call and cancel the order, since it was getting late but no one answered. I figured maybe my order never actually went through, and their system probably had a glitch (possibly due to power outage) since it continued to stay in "preparation" status even up until we went to bed around 1am. Then I start getting phone calls at 2:30am from a random California phone number, which I didn't answer and went back to sleep. The next morning I see that this same number texted me at 2am saying they were on the way and then "hello?" at 2:30am when I guess they got no answer. I also had automated texts around the same time from Papa John's, so I know it was a DoorDash person they used. I just have no idea why they tried to deliver my order several hours later, in the middle of the night. I feel bad for the door Dash person but I did try to cancel my order and was not able to. The website really should say what delivery times are like before you hit "Order Now" because I would not have ordered if I knew it was going to take several hours and arrive in the middle...

Order your pizza from somewhere else. They use DoorDash to deliver, I guess too cheap to pay for their own drivers, which is a corporate problem and likely not just this store. We ordered a pizza at 5 PM with a 30 min expected wait time. After 50 minutes I called, and they said “your pizza was ready 30 min ago, we are waiting on a driver” and I asked how did they not have tabs on their delivery drivers, and that’s when I learned they used doordash, and they claimed my pizza would not be cold. After 1.5 hours I called and asked for a refund, but they refused saying ‘a driver is on the way and no your pizza won’t be cold/old’. After 2 hours, we ate things we had at home. I called again, spoke to the manager, who blamed it all on doordash (okay, y’all use them, so take responsibility), and FINALLY gave me a refund.
