DICED Salads, Wraps & Bowls - Holly Springs — Restaurant in Holly Springs

I went to the soft opening for Diced in Holly Springs and got the Southwest Crunch Salad with Chicken. The restaurant was clean and well designed and the staff were so nice and welcoming. The menu is easy to read and there are many options for all, depending on what you like as well as any dietary restrictions you may have. The menu lists out the number of calories as well as the amount of protein for each salad, which is very helpful and great for anyone who may be keeping track, like myself. The ingredients are all healthy and great quality and everything on the line looked fresh…making me want to really load up my salad. The portions are more than generous and my salad was delicious. Diced was always one of our favorite salad places to eat in Cary, so you can imagine how excited we were to have one show up so close to home. Maybe my expectations were too high, but I walked away so utterly disappointed. How the staff had barely sprinkled in the “fresh options” left me speechless. We paid $4.50 extra for shrimp in my son’s bowl and I watched them count out 5 of those small pieces. If those were a jumbo or even large shrimp I would have been happy, but they were small. Every item that was put into the bowl was that miserly. We also purchased drinks and both the tea and lemonade were watered down. Went to the soft open for Diced in Holly Springs today. SO happy to have this restaurant in our town! It was the first day, so everyone is learning the ropes with a line of hungry customers in front of them—so 100% grace given for a little slower service than what I’m sure will end up being a smoothly run machine soon enough. The food is great—super fresh ingredients with tons of options. The flavors are on-point, and portion sizes are super. It’s an easy-to-navigate location that’s bright and airy on the inside.
