Play It Again Sports Holly Springs — Local services in Holly Springs

This PIAS in Holly Springs is unlike any other I’ve been to. The store was clean, well stocked, and well organized. But it’s the staff that really sets this store apart from any other sporting goods store. I was trying to find a VERY popular and hard to find USSSA baseball bat in an odd size, new or used, for my son so he could attend a last minute tournament and I had 24 hours to do so. I started calling every place I could think of around me. Some places even laughed when I told them what I was looking for, others didn’t even answer the phone . After no less than 20 calls and no results, Colin, the manager of this store answered and, to my surprise he said “yes we have a NEW one, I’m looking at it now”. I thought I heard him wrong, but he verified the model and size. I live well over an hour from this location so Colin held it for me until the next day. When I arrived, I was amazed at just how many NEW products they carry on top of all the nice pre owned items they have. I forgot the other 2 employees names, but they were all super cool and helpful. They signed me up for their rewards program so I have a $40 in store credit the next time I visit. Sorry for the long review, I just felt it necessary to share my experience with this small store tucked away in a strip mall in Holly Springs. Service like I experienced is a rarity these days. I can think of several other big box sporting goods stores and at least one other PIAS location (looking at you Greenville) that could take some pointers from these guys. Thank you...

I have been there four times, but there is an employee (Owner) who chases you everywhere like you're going to steal something. A few days ago I bought a red DSP bat grip supplier and after paying for it (still being at the register) not even 30 seconds after I paid I decided to switch it for a different color... still same price, same brand, same type, same everything just DIFFERENT COLOR and this guy gave me the worst customer service I have ever received. He told me “ that was something hard to do” of course, with an attitude! He even asked for my driver's license and my phone number. I felt like discriminated because there was no reason for him to treat me the way he did. People like that shouldn’t be working in costumer...

My family and I came to the store today to purchase bicycles and to sell a jogging stroller. We were greeted by many friendly faces and loads of offers to help us any way they could. This store gave us an excellent trade in value for our stroller and we found 3 new bicycles to purchase. The sales staff were helpful in replacing my husband's bicycle seat and also repairing a tire on the bicycle for me. I was very impressed with the kindness and efficiency we experienced today. The store was very busy with shoppers but we still recieved lots of help with our purchases. I will frequent this store often and highly recommend them to...
