I was recently recommended by a friend to go on 57 th and Johnson street , to purchase a mattress. I was told by my friend that they were the original 1/2 price mattress and they have recommended this location for 20 years to other various friends and all the friends had been very happy and satisfied. I entered the store front and was immediately impressed by the amount of mattresses and the different designs and quality. It took me approximately a hour of time to find a perfect mattress !! A Simmons beauty rest !! I looked at the exact same mattress at city furniture and it wasn’t 1/2 price , it was 1/4 of the price for the same mattress. I’ve intentionally waited two weeks of great sleep and comfort before I posted my review. The salesperson, might also be the owner? Because she was not only handling my mattress sale but taking phone calls from other customers. I purchased the MLily Chiro Pro 1.0 mattress about a month ago. In the store, it didn’t seem overly firm, but after sleeping on it at home I found it to rock hard — one of the firmest mattresses I’ve ever used. Unfortunately, it has been uncomfortable and I’ve been waking up with aches and pains leading now having to invest in a topper for a $900 mattress just to make it suitable for sleep.

The mattress cost was a significant investment, especially since it was presented as the only option in the outlet with a warranty. While I appreciated having that reassurance, the comfort level has not worked out for me. Cara has an infectious warm and engaging personality but more importantly her knowledge is beyond what I expected having been to other places prior and ended up with nothing but disappointment and discouragement. Her knowledge coupled with her hands on personal service prompted me to make my purchase without any doubts. I don’t have friends as helpful as she was from beginning to delivery day. And when I had after delivery questions she immediately responded and was on target with answers.
