Target — Local services in Homosassa Springs

I don’t typically shop at Target, never really have, because I feel like they’re overpriced. But I was happy we got one because I know a lot of people like the store, so whatever. My personal issue with this location is how they handled the Onyx Storm book release yesterday (1/21/25). 30+ people stood outside waiting for them to open at 8am, to try and get the Target exclusive edition or deluxe edition of this new book. They only had 4 copies of the Target exclusive (not their fault that’s on Target as a company for not properly stocking their locations) so an employee came out and took down the names of the 1st 4 people in line (good job, seriously, no sarcasm!) and then let everyone else know those copies were taken but they had plenty of the deluxe and basic copies. The employee then came out a couple more times before they opened at 8am, to reiterate that the Target exclusives were sold out, that we should single file line into the store at opening, etc. during this time they never once explained to the crowd that they had taken ALL of the copies of this book and brought them to the front register.. so when 8am hit, half of the crowd ran to the back (where you would think the books should have been.. in the book section?) and the other half ran to the front when they saw some of the copies (a lot of us had assumed those were preorders, not that it was all the copies they had for sale). Meaning that the people who ran to the back, ended up with basic copies because the 14 deluxe editions were already taken by the time they got back up to the front; a lot of those people being the ones who had waited in line for an hour outside.. The employees watched as people ran to the back, knowing that they had pulled all the books up front and said nothing to them. I had friends who went to other locations and they made sure to tell their crowds “when we open, all of the books are at the register, so when you single file inside, make sure to walk straight behind the person in front of you to the register and everyone will get their copy.” THAT is how it should have been handled. Now personally, I preordered the deluxe version back in November, so I’ll have my copy in on Friday.. I just needed a physical copy to read alongside with my mom for the day, therefore getting a basic one was not a big deal to me. But I did watch as a lot of other people were upset and felt disrespected by how the store handled this book release. I hope they understand this review is not to belittle anyone or cast shame, but instead to explain that they could have done a little better and will hopefully learn from the mistake and make the next release more enjoyable and productive for...

Bought a charger portable hey dude charger Target is the only place that I know of that sells the brand hey dude in the portable chargers for your phones. Went in there And tried to return it or exchange it because it wouldn’t hold a charge bought it about a month ago. I don’t have a receipt The lady at the front was very rude. She wouldn’t even ask if I use my target circle app. Not I later on, looked through it and couldn’t find it on there, but that’s besides the point the point was that she was so adamant about having a receipt it was either have a receipt or no return her way or the highway Very rude very inappropriate not customer friendly at all. They wouldn’t even look at the serial number to find a manufacturer date. Nothing wouldn’t help me at all. I am very disappointed in this target this target has gone downhill since they have opened. I have many other complaints about this target but that’s for another day. Whole entire store is amazing except for the Ulta department. Some of the employees in that department are extremely rude. I asked two different girls tonight where the touchland hand sanitizer was that I was looking to buy. After I asked both of them where to find it I heard them talking to each other. One of them said to the other “If I can’t find something the first time I just give up” and I heard one of them say the word “annoying”. I was so embarrassed from being treated so rudely I didn’t want to return the items I decided not to buy to that department and left them elsewhere in the store. I had gone back just to smell a body wash and the curly haired girl said “Can I help you?” in a really rude tone of voice. I’m not usually one to complain, but I felt very disrespected today. I felt like I was a bother just because I asked for help and like my presence alone was annoying them.
