The food is good, but this Culver's is a mess. It's hard to order if you've never been to a Culver's and don't know how to do it already. First time we ever came we went though the Drive thru and the employees act like you should know the menu when you try to order and get annoyed if you take too long. They gave us a number and came out with half our food, but took the number without a word to us. Finally we went inside to ask about our missing item and they acted like we were stupid for checking, even though it had been 5+ minutes since they took the number and the employee never told us anything.
After that, we decided drive thru wouldn't be good for us, so we tried carryout ordering online. Went in to get it at our pick up time and was told it wasn't ready and to sit down. Twenty plus minutes passed and finally we went back up to the counter to check on it and they said it was in the cooler. Literally forgot about us and then we had soupy melted ice cream. So the next time we tried curbside pick up. The spots for curbside are next to IMPOSSIBLE to see from the parking lot (especially in the dark), there is zero signage to point you in the direction of them, AND the website doesn't even tell you there are designated spots when you place the order, so we didn't even know to look for any and ended up parking in regular parking. Finally went through the drive thru to ask what to do and they told us where the spots were and that they would bring our order right out since we had already been sitting around in the wrong place for ten minutes. Sat in the pick up spot for another ten minutes, and once again had soupy melted ice cream.
The entire set up for ordering is flawed and not intuitive in any way and employees seem miserable, which I don't blame them when the ordering systems are so dumb and seem to add so much extra work for them. Every other food ordering business has figured it out, so I don't understand why Culver's is such a mess. Not a fun or pleasant experience any of the times we've come here, which is a shame because the food is...
Read moreI pulled up in the drive thru to place my order, and I should have known things would go awry when two people simultaneously asked for my order. I requested a mushroom and Swiss double burger value basket. Every other Culver's I've been to ask if fries are ok and what to drink. This one just asked what to drink, and I requested a Sprite. I also asked for steak sauce, and I swear this is the only Culver's that doesn't carry it. Next came the question that blew my mind: for here or to go. In drive thru. I responded, "Ummm... to go. Drive thru." Pull around, pay, and get told to pull ahead where they'll bring my order to me. Twenty minutes later, I just get handed a bag. Usually they ask the name given for the order and verify what I ordered. Nope. I immediately knew I had the wrong order when I felt how heavy the bag was. Called out to the guy who had rushed off to come back because he gave me the wrong order after looking in the bag to verify it was indeed the wrong order. He takes the bag back, looks in it, and proceeds to the car behind me to give them the bag. They took it, but personally, I'd have refused it and requested it be made again. I wouldn't want my food handled by other customers. Few minutes later, a young lady comes out with my order. She verified my name and order before giving me the bag. I asked about the delay, and the wrong order. Poor girl had just got on shift, and ran the bag of as soon as she saw it. She asked if I'd like to talk to the manager, to which I said yes. Manager came out, and we discussed all the issues. Over twenty minute wait when the restaurant was basically empty, given wrong order, lukewarm food, etc. She apologized profusely, and provided a card for a free value basket during a future visit. I told her please let the young lady know she did a great job, and thanked the manager for correcting the problem. I'll visit again in the future and upgrade my review based on how...
Read moreI try not to leave negative reviews unless it is truly deserved. I was willing to discuss with a manager the employee at the front counter. Even after calling in attempt to talk to a manager I still was not happy. The food was very subpar and not what we have grown to expect. Inverness location has much better food quality and taste. But This location unfortunately does not have a good reputation for the quality of food. But we tried it again hoping our minds would change. People at the counter are too busy talking to others instead of doing their job. Too busy lollygagging instead of turning around and taking our order. Too many people standing around doing nothing while one person does all the work. And the one girl at the counter was acting like she on some something... Aside from the obvious visual appearance of it There were telltale signs, She constantly kept scratching herself, couldn't stand still, very fidgety and literally looked like she was going to fall over.... She lost her balance three times just standing there doing nothing... Im sorry but that's not the type of person you want to greet your customers when you were a new franchise in town. This place has a horrible reputation already...
Also the company really dropped the ball switching to only Coke products when they have been known for Pepsi products for years. There was no warning just one day they changed it out of nowhere. This is a huge problem For many who can't stand Coke products which is why we would go to Culver's over other places that only offered Coke products. Now with the poor service of this location it only makes it easier to choose somewhere else to spend our...
