That's it I've had enough! Okay so in an explosive turn of events regarding The local uproar today over fireworks, chicken wings, helicopters and even now THE ONSET! Yes, The Onset Pop Culture where I went in there and they forced me to spend my money! I decided to take the road less traveled and pop in for a visit today. Oh my god! What was I thinking? This place actually had cool stuff that I wanted and I was forced to spend money unwillingly!!!
I had no intention of buying anything. Thanks a lot lady!!! But me being me, I have to find the one dang place In Citrus County with some of the best customer service and tell her that I had no intention of buying anything... but then.... found the most comfortable 420 blanket for a king size bed that was only $49!!! Shut the front door. Where the heck is my wing sauce?
They have a bunch of anime items and pop culture stuff there. They are just starting out so they are adding more as they get business. As well as half of it being a smoke shop for those who need utensils for their medical cards. (I still say they need to make the Stitch character pipe into a 510 battery instead of a pipe)
The customer service was absolutely so damn spot on, that I literally reached into my pocket and pulled money out. I've wanted to tell her to shut up and take my money, but... the guy there was kind of big and looks like he might be able to take me. Yeah so that was a big no for me. What the hell is going on here? I wasn't supposed to enjoy this. This is Citrus County I'm supposed to be pissed off right now and ranting all over the local groups.
But you know what Even though they don't have the wings I still enjoyed it.
Definitely will be returning with the wife as when I told her about some of the things they had, she seemed a little bit upset that I didn't take her there lol
The Onset (That doesn't sell chicken wings or helicopters) is located right across from Texas Roadhouse on the side of circle K off the corner of Lecanto highway and norvell Bryant. (So close you could even shoot Roman candles at the folks over in the Texas Roadhouse parking lot in protest if you don't want to read your contract)
So here's my complaint. They don't sell any damn chicken wings or helicopters.
But they definitely have some 420 friendly stuff and a bunch of pop anime stuff.
So you know what? Moral of the story If this gave you a good chuckle, go check out the onset. They may force you to spend your dang money too...
And the best part is, they are a local small business!...
Read moreI absolutely love this place! the first time i came here Lexi was very attentive to me, explaining everything to me and helping me decide what i want. I had never heard of Kings palms before and she gave me a great explanation on what they are and how theyre better than typical blunt wraps. Since that day i’ve been hooked! I always come on the days she works because the second day I came she remembered me even tho i hadnt been there again in over a month. She helped me amazingly once again, and told me the days she works so I always know when to see her. Today she gave me great service once again and reminded me about the reviews, so this time I remembered to take the time and show my appreciation for her and this amazing smoke shop. I will be back again, specifically for Lexi herself! If you’re looking for a great experience with attentive staff that are amazing at answering any questions you have, this...
Read moreI had passed by The Onset while working in Lecanto and made a mental note to check them out the next time I was back in town, and boy was it glad I remembered! The entire shop is packed wall to wall with an amazing selection of anime merch, figures, wallscrolls, Japanese candy, everything you can think of! Plus there was a whole section of sick anime related pieces, Pokemon water pipes, rolling trays, and other accoutrements. Lexi was extremely friendly and helpful as she guided me through my first time at the store, without her help I would have been lost gawking in indecision at all of the cool stuff to choose from! Definitely recommend a stop by for anime fans and smokers alike, you won't be...
