I stumbled upon kolohe one evening, and decided to take a look inside. I loved the style of all the pieces and the concept of being able to design your own pieces. The person working that night was the owner’s brother. It is his sister’s business, and she is a young entrepreneur. As a young woman myself, it feels great to find a business that is locally owned by another young woman. I don’t know the details of the situations described in the other reviews, but I would strongly suggest you give Kolohe a chance. The customer service was excellent. I decided I wanted to purchase an anklet after I couldn’t get the cute designs out of my mind, so I ended up coming back to the store. The woman working was very kind and helpful. I really loved the look of the anklet she put together. However, after I wore it for a couple days, I was having issues with the length and realized I probably needed to adjust it. I went back and asked if there was anything that could be done. The woman working when I came in was happy to help, and made sure I was really happy with the product. She added some length on and helped resolve the issue free of charge. I ultimately ended up exchanging the original item I purchased for something else because it just wasn’t working out quite like I hoped, and I am really really happy with the outcome. I now have something that is exactly what I hoped for. This is a business that stands by their products, cares about the happiness of their customers, and in my experience will definitely make it right if given the chance to do so. When I first walked in I wasn’t planning on my jewelry & customer service dreams to become a reality! I spent over an hour getting creative and embracing the plethora of options as Helena chatted with me and led me along in the process! She is the most patient and friendly woman I’ve ever met in a retail! She went above and beyond to assure I made the perfect piece! Being considerate with my budget as well! She was also very educated about the company and pearl I chose to put on my necklace. I learned a freshwater pearl which is different than others because their beauty is found in the uniqueness instead of perfection! I had a wonderful experience at Kolohe! I got a permanent bracelet and the service was exceptional. The ladies working in the store are incredibly friendly. After I got the promise bracelet, I was wondering if I needed to make it a little longer, and went back to chat with the ladies. They were super willing to help however I ended up deciding I liked it just the way it was already. The first day that I stopped in, the owner was there and she was so friendly.
