I had come into the store looking for a specific piece (yellow gold ring with one diamond). They had the correct size, I tried it on and wanted to think about purchasing it over dinner. The lady helping me (Sue) gave me her card and told me she would hold onto it just for that evening if I did decide to come back after dinner to purchase it. I returned after dinner and decided to purchase it. When I walked in, I was greeted by an elderly lady who worked there, I asked her if she could get me Sue, as she was helping me with a ring that I would like to purchase. She said, OK - I will get Sue for you. 15 mins went by, and no one came back to me. After waiting, the elderly lady came back into the room and I waited for her to acknowledge the fact that no one still had not helped me, nor has Sue shown up. I was very annoyed by this time, because I didn't HAVE to purchase the ring or anything for that matter. IF YOU'RE NOT JAPANESE, DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME AT THIS LOCATION! Everyone that works at this store is Japanese, which is totally fine by me (as the population in Waikiki is mostly Japanese) but you will not be treated well, nor acknowledged. Seriously, don't waste your time going into this location, go the Tiffany's at the Ala Moana Center instead, MUCH friendlier and eager to earn your business! Tiffany & Co. needs to know that this store needs a shake up! This isn't my first bad experience at this location - the first bad experience, the lady helping me barely could speak english, and was showing my things that I didn't even ask to look at. Terrible service when you're choosing to purchase luxury items. This is why I choose to shop at Cartier - much higher service, and they don't care what...
Read moreTOURISTS BEWARE of the SCAM!!! I travelled to Hawaii for a vacation in November and purchased a lock bracelet and pendant totaling $17.5k as an anniversary gift. I returned home to Texas, tried the bracelet, changed my mind and decided to return it. I call the store to help arrange the return ( as it says in the receipt returns must be in Hawaii store) hoping that I could courier them the return. Guess what ? They say I need to be physically present to make the return and wouldn’t be able to process my return. I tried speaking with my SA (Sue) her manager ( Kristal) and they wouldn’t budge. I then called Tiffany corporate and they seem to not be aware of such RIDICULOUS POLICIES. She tried calling them to convince them to accept the return and again they wouldn’t budge. It’s a MONOPOLY here and what they say is final. Apparently no one else can STOP this NONSENSE that the Waikiki store is doing and now I am travelling all the way back to Hawaii to just make that return. Initially I only wanted to return the bracelet but after such awful experience I am going to return both my purchases and will be on a NEVER AGAIN BUY FROM TIFFANY. Goto CARTIER or VCA instead and get a good feel. Will update this post after my...
Read moreThe staff was super kind and welcoming, unfortunately I did not catch the name of the man who helped me but, he was very kind even with our little budget and went the extra mile. I might have misunderstood and took it for basic protocol but still little things like as he was getting the receipt and packaging welcoming us to sit on the couch and being very patient for us to finish really add up as excellent services. I highly recommend this location because you would automatically assume that because your in a tourist location they would raise prices, but no not at all! They go off of things as their labeled correctly on their website. I simply don’t understand how most of the negative reviews are all somehow related to ethnicity/ability? My grandparents agreed to buy me one bracelet and my grandpa who is not fluent in English what-so-ever with a very thick accent was very much welcomed. The staff was very patient while I translated and they were as mentioned...
