Overpriced- charged 25$ to remove shellac polish and a manicure without any polish.
Unprofessional- right away the manicurist pushed me to get gel to upsell me even though I explained that my nails were cracking and too thin. She touched my nails and kept saying it’s normal they’re not thin. My nails are paper thin and have been cracking in the middle.. then when she removes my gel she scrapes them with a metal tool, the file, buffer and machine. In my experience, this is not a good way to safely remove the polish especially when the client is concerned about the health of her nails.
Poor quality manicure- she didn’t even shape my nails, check that they were even or check for spots she missed. My nails were all different shapes and lengths and still had shellac on them. I asked her to finish taking off the polish and her first response was “It’ll come off when you wash your hands I didn’t get it all because it hurt you”. If I’m paying 10$ for removal, it should all be gone.
In the end, I went back home and had to fix my nails. I will never come back here and would not recommend. I believe the manicurist should have listened to me when I said my nails were cracked and thin and been more careful when removing the gel. Also, she should have just done her job right and given a full manicure which includes shaping. I don’t see why I have to pay for a crappy manicure especially since she didn’t even have to...
Read moreWalked in and asked if they have poly gel. She said yes. I asked how much she kept telling me to pick a color I asked 3rd time with a stronger voice and yay I got an answer. I wanted the service I asked for so I sat down while she was talking to someone randomly in a different language. I felt like I needed to apologize for asking the price she said that it was okay. Then she uses GELLAC! She basically thought I didn't know what I was asking for and took my money. Bad customer service and a waste of my money. I did not get what I asked for and why should a customer feel apologetic when asking simple questions? I felt embarrassed so I just let her do it. Why didn't she ask me or say I don't know what poly gel is or we don't offer that service? Tho it was quick and cheaper than most places if you're looking for gel polish. Salon got what they wanted another customer to get a tip. Not all of us can throw money and time for services they...
Read moreI went there on Wednesday for Gel mani and pedi. I had a big event coming up in CA so I wanted to get them done prior to leaving.
In a day my left Thumb peeled half way which they fixed but my left index finger is now all peeled, middle and ring fingers are 1/3 chipped, my right thumb is 1/4 chipped. Their work didn’t last a week. Now I don’t have time to go in to have them fix my nails.
What’s disappointing is not only I paid for over $150 total, including the tip for them to fix the peeled left thumb, I now have to attend my big event with peeled unsightly fingers.
Everyone there is all nice and friendly, however, the work they provide doesn’t match the price...
