The park sits atop a hill with a view of the city. I usually park on the downhill side, nearby the stacked stone stairwell. There is unmetered on-street parking across from sone cute bungalow style homes. I've never worried about leaving my vehicle here unattended. While there are usually a handful of people here, they tend to stay well spaced out, so you never feel crowded. There are often sports games going on at one or more of the fields/courts, and the big field is a great place to goof around with my big, clumsy dog. Read moreOddly enough, for a public park this place is still lit quite brightly at night and quite active as well. There was some tennis playing going on when I was here at around 9:40pm. It was a 15-20 min stop for me and the fellow patrons on the Party Bus for a girlfriends birthday. The folks there were a little startled by our bus but still friendly. Some let us play with their dogs (they looked like Lassie). The bathrooms were clean and well lit, there wasn’t any graffiti. Good job to City & County who clean this one!
