Nohea Gallery — Attraction in Honolulu

I should have written this years ago, but as I look around my home and see the meaningful things I've gotten at Nohea Gallery over the years it makes me realize how much I value this unique place. I'm an artist (glass & mixed media) and a former sales staff member so I was blessed to see the sincere dedication and love for local art and artisans that Laurie and Gail have. I loved working for them and I loved the enthusiasm they had for my glass work. In 35 of being a practicing artist I've learned Laurie and Gail are unique, true artist advocates. I have since moved to San Francisco but return to Oahu every year and always make sure to stop in their shops to connect with friends and add to my collection...

Not the guy, the stuff.

If you are visiting or a local and like art, this is a place to see some great artistic vision. Don't go to the local museums they all kind of suck. This is the place where the rubber meets the road so to speak. As in where the art can meet your hand. As long as your pockets are deep enough.

This place is filled with things that most people would love to have in their home. There are some truly exceptional works here. I suggest you stop by and have a look. Be careful you might fall in love.
