I recently visited the Riverchase Galleria Kids Footlocker on 12/23 to return a pair of shoes purchased three days prior. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing, and I feel compelled to share my concerns. Return Process: When I approached the sales associates for assistance, I was informed that I could only exchange the item, despite your return policy clearly stating refunds are allowed for unworn shoes with an original receipt. After I reiterated your company policy, the associate reluctantly processed the return but then claimed the shoes were not eligible because they were not from a Kids Foot Locker, despite me providing the receipt. Customer Service: The sales associate displayed poor attitude and etiquette throughout the interaction. Instead of being greeted or assisted politely, I was met with resistance and unprofessional behavior. Store Environment: The store had extremely loud music with explicit lyrics, which created an unwelcoming atmosphere for customers. Training and Standards: Based on my experience, it seems the staff at this location could benefit from additional training in customer service, store policies, and professionalism.
This was by far the worst experience I’ve had at any Foot Locker, and it reflects poorly on the brand. If I were the general manager, I would prioritize retraining the team and reassessing the store environment to ensure a welcoming and professional experience for all customers.

While shopping received a call from my job (the one that provides the money to shop at this store.) duck off into a doorway not realizing that it was the door way to the back room which had no door. Obviously my job is important and I had to take the call, moved to area with less blaring music to hear what my boss was saying to me. An associate from the middle of the store started screaming about what I was doing and started telling me I didn’t know what was in the boxes that I just notice were further in the doorway at this time. I showed him the phone and moved from the area I was in. He then proceeded to make himself as loud as possible as if to accuse me of stealing. This is the problem with mortar and pestle stores. No one wants to be disrespected in a store. I understand I made an absent minded mistake and can accept that. As a customer service and hospitality agent for over 20 yrs. This could have been handled completely differently and was an honest mistake on my part. I will not ever return to this footlocker. I will move my orders to the distributor themselves. I was a victim on identity theft and my card is temporarily off limits and I've been reduced to PayPal cash and checks until this all blows over. Meanwhile I found out today that Footlocker stopped taking checks whilst still having that they do posted online. I mean what if I was 90 years old trying to buy something for my grandbaby and I only use checks??? Bad for business.
