Even though I was crunched for time stopped by this comic shop, nestled inside an antique store, because I love the owner's YouTube videos and appreciate his reasonable pricing and regular sales. However, my experience was marred when I tried to checkout – I was told that I couldn't receive a discount unless I made a purchase from another vendor. There was no signage or indication of this policy anywhere, which made it feel unfair. I understand the desire to support other vendors in the shop, but I'd specifically allocated time to browse comics, not antiques. I love browsing here and seeing the different curated rooms. I bring my older friends here to reminisce and pick up a few baubles, but I'd go nuts if I had a bigger shopping budget.
