For starters I love Thai food and have had it in 100+ restaurants across the globea and 12 states In US. Rudest staff I have seen in a restaurant industry. I can handle very high level of spice usualy 9 or 10 at scale or 10. In a new restaurant I start in middle.
Here we ordered level 2 of 3. Food spice was off the roof. My entire family was in tears. With all restaurant closing we asked for plain rice to mix and even out. No respite at all. So we decided to pay out and find food outside. Obviously if food is so horrible I can't be expected to tip. This staff comes out abusing and screaming that why I didn't tip. I told her food was not eatable, kids were crying even though there food was spice level 1. She kept of speaking bad words.
Worst service and attitude you can expect. I will die hungry than eating at this place again. I did read some similar reviews once back home and realized this a normal here. Its very hard to trust 4 and 5 start ratings these days not sure how many are real vs fake. I drive 15 miles just beacuse I wanted to have good thai food. All to come out an have a Burger from a fast-food as all rest was closed by then. A wonderful evening, horrible spoiled..
I wish there was an option of negative stars.
Horrible...
Read moreWe did take out from Pru Thai as we wanted to try out this place from quite some time. Google also has great reviews. The order was ready in less than 15 mins which is always a plus. We got the crying Tiger - Spicy beef in sauce , chicken red curry and drunken noodles with chicken and shrimp. Little bit about the dishes : Crying Tiger : it had a very spicy sauce on the side but even without touching the sauce the beef was super tasty , juicy and succulent. My kids loved it very much and honestly that was the only dish that got over in one shot. Highly recommended! Chicken red curry : we ordered spicy Level 2 . It was still super spicy but it was tasty. However the quantity was less for dinner portion compared to other Thai restaurants in this area. Drunken Noodles aka pad kee mao : we ordered it spicy Level 3 with chicken and shrimp. They had lots of protein which is great! I really liked it but I think I had better in other Thai places where also I have ordered it highest...
Read moreIt's a beautiful place, very calm, elevated. However. 1) I got there for lunch at 11:38, the restaurant was not opened (their stated opening hour is 11:30). I waited outside for about 5 minutes and then called to ask if they were opening, before the restaurant was unlocked and I could order. 2) I don't eat meat. I ordered the tofu pad thai. I received... CHICKEN! Since it was my first time there, I didn't know what their presentation of this dish was (I thought maybe they used some fancy tofu), and took a bite of chicken, before realizing that it was definitely not tofu. I didn't get upset, but I let them know, and the waitress (I think also the owner) apologized- it was an error in the kitchen. I was then charged full price. Maybe if I had complained I would have been comped. I'm vegetarian-- literally I don't eat chicken. So I don't recommend this for vegetarians, and I won't be back, sadly, though it was good, because I can't trust a restaurant that serves meat to...
