Amazing Steaks and Craft Cocktails! My wife and I made a reservation for 7:30 PM on a Sunday night. The dining room and bar were partially full, but it was not the madhouse that I had expected. The ambience was romantic with a dimly-lit atmosphere, fresh flowers, and pin spot lighting projected down to each table. The beverages program was exceptional. The Oaxaca Smash (mezcal, chai-infused red vermouth, fresh lime juice, agave, and muddled fresh ginger) was tasty and incredibly well-balanced. The Fuyu Martini (vodka, lychee liqueur, St. George spiced pear liqueur, and lavender bitters) - garnished with a fresh flower - was a well-balanced and delicious journey to the Orient. To accompany the steak dinners, we enjoyed glasses of the Californian Treana Cabernet Sauvignon. The glassware, presentation of the wine, and taste were superlative. On the food side, as an appetizer I enjoyed the Beet Carpaccio, a visually enticing and tasty medley of red and gold beets, radicchio salad, and spiced cashews. The filet mignon, ordered medium, was perfect, and served with horseradish crème fraiche and an artsy scalloped potato. My wife's Rib Eye Steak also scored high points for taste and visual presentation. The culinary journey continued on with a delicious fudge brownie and Irish coffee. Our waitress, Tracy, was knowledgeable, attentive, and paced the service appropriately so that we could enjoy our experience. All-in-all, BORO exceeded my expectations, and I rate my experience as a perfect 5 of 5. Everything was exceptional! The venue also offers private party opportunities. One of our DJ company clients is having their engagement party at BORO this June. Given that the space is not large, I highly recommend making a reservation. To maximize your experience, you may also want to dine at an off-peak time.

First time trying Boro out and on Mother’s Day, quite bold of me. Nevertheless the service and energy were remarkably top notch! Our server Brayden was amazing, super attentive, knowledgeable and interesting to chat with. I recommend asking for him, I know I will. We had a few drinks, & their spin on the Clover Club was excellent, I recommend it. For appetizers we had the calamari and the charcuterie plate. The calamari was good but the charcuterie plate was delicious. I loved the way they rustically laid it out and the jam they used was to die for, really complemented the meat and cheese perfectly. For our main course we had the filet and the linguine. The linguine was prepared with these perfectly cooked large shrimp in a sherry cream saffron sauce that was heavenly and not heavy at all. The filet was seasoned and cooked to perfection. For dessert we ordered the poached pear and the zeppoles. So here’s where the food quality fell down… the poached pears were spot on , BUT the zepppoles were very clearly fried in oil that was not hot enough and past its prime. They literally oozed oil. Brayden, apologized and offered to fix the situation very professionally. The kitchen staff said they could remake it, however when they came out two of them were perfect and the others were raw on the inside or again oozing oil. That was disappointing and gross TBH. Brayden took it off our check and was such a gentleman about it all. The atmosphere was gorgeous, very classy, moody and unexpected for the area. It gave sexy NYC vibes. The service ran pretty well, no drama, or errors were apparent by any staff which alone is surprising but on Mother’s Day with 300 covers on the books is remarkable. All in all I would go back but I will probably never order those zeppoles again, honestly they should have never left the kitchen.

Had reservations with a friend on Friday at 6:30pm and was seated right away. Staff were very friendly. Interior temperature seemed to fluctuate a bit, and didn't really enjoy the fan blowing in my face lol. Got 2 cocktails with my meals and both were excellent. Not sweet at all, refreshing, and perfectly boozy. There's complimentary bread that's served at the table and while it's not warmed up, it was delicious bread and butter. For apps we got the arancini and it was fantastic, great flavor and texture. We also got the scallop casino which was an absolute banger, really liked the bacon, pepper, onion combo. For entree I got the linguini chili crunch shrimp. I really enjoyed the housemade pasta it had excellent texture and flavor. The sherry cream was delightful. However that chili crunch had almost a BBQ flavor to it which was excellent with just the shrimp but odd combination with the sherry cream. I opted to eat them separately as to not mix the flavors. For dessert we got the marscapone brownie which was delicious.

Located amidst the picturesque streets of Pennington, New Jersey, Boro Restaurant beckons diners into a world of culinary excellence and unparalleled hospitality. Our recent visit to this hidden culinary gem left us utterly captivated, from the moment we were greeted by our waiter, Chris, to the very last bite of dessert.

Let me begin by praising Chris, our knowledgeable and attentive server, whose passion for food and genuine warmth elevated our dining experience. His impeccable service, coupled with insightful recommendations, ensured that every aspect of our meal was nothing short of extraordinary.

Now, onto the food. Each dish we savored at Boro Restaurant was a masterpiece in its own right, showcasing the chef's meticulous attention to detail and commitment to using the finest ingredients. We started our culinary journey with the Mussels and Oysters, which arrived impeccably fresh and brimming with flavor, setting the tone for an unforgettable evening.

The main courses, the Salmon and Branzino, continued to impress with their flawless execution and sublime taste. The salmon boasted a perfect sear, revealing tender, flaky flesh beneath, while the branzino melted on the palate with each forkful. Accompanied by thoughtfully crafted sides, every bite was a symphony of flavors that left us longing for more.

And then came the grand finale – dessert. The mini zeppolies were a revelation, a delightful medley of crispy, golden dough and heavenly sweetness. Paired with a dollop of their renowned homemade butter infused with honey, it was a culinary delight that danced on our taste buds and left us craving seconds.

Speaking of the homemade butter with honey, it's no wonder Boro Restaurant has earned acclaim for this divine creation. Its rich, velvety texture and subtle sweetness imparted a heavenly touch to each dish, further enhancing the dining experience.

Lastly, we must express our gratitude to the United Airlines Dining app for leading us to this culinary treasure. Without it, we might have missed out on the opportunity to savor the exceptional offerings of Boro Restaurant and immerse ourselves in its warm, inviting ambiance.

In conclusion, Boro Restaurant is more than just a dining establishment – it's an experience to be cherished. With impeccable service, outstanding cuisine, and an inviting atmosphere, it's no wonder that this hidden gem has captured the hearts of locals and visitors alike. Whether you're a seasoned food enthusiast or simply seeking a memorable meal, Boro Restaurant promises a culinary journey that will linger in your memory long after...

I went out with a friend last night and both of us couldn't be more satisfied. Our server, Tracy, was an absolute delight. She was prompt, polite, professional and above all, knowledgeable. Ben (who I later found out, is the owner) was a gentleman and helped us get a better table when we first arrived.

As for the food, impeccable. It was way above the quality I was expecting from anywhere in Pennington or Hopewell Valley. This is exactly the standard and dining experience that the area desperately needs. I'm so glad I decided to come here. I did make a reservation, because I figured it would be crowded on a Friday night. And it was, which ended up being a good sign.

Most of what we ordered were the evening's specials. I typically don't order special items off menus, but they sounded too good to not to try them. The calamari we ordered was a spicier version of what they normally serve. It was prepared exactly how it should, light and crisp. I love spicy food, so It's very rare whenever I consider most food "hot". But for the average person, I would say this had a noticeable amount of heat.

My friend ordered the brisket burger with the truffle fries (accompanied with dijonnaise). She told me it was delicious. Meanwhile, I had a three cheese ravioli with what they described as an apple cider reduction with mushrooms and duck prosciutto. I'm happy to report that the flavor combination was excellent. Again, I would never think I'd have food of this caliber in this area. I was thoroughly impressed.

For dessert, we split a piece of carrot cake and paired it with a dessert port. We were explicitly instructed to take a bite of the cake first and then sip the port in order to achieve the intended flavor combination. It was outstanding. Thanks again, to Tracy for her guidance and expertise.

All in all, I'm beyond satisfied. Keep in mind that their lunch offerings are an entirely different experience from what I'm told. Dinner was absolutely superb. Do yourself a favor and pay this establishment a visit as soon...
