We just left the Verizon Store in Pennington, NJ. 1st - Like most people I was dreading the errand, because, usually, Verizon's stores are crowded; "Take a # & have a seat. We'll be with you soon." Ugh- the dreaded hour by hour visit! NOT THE CASE , in our Pennington store. Thru my 2 visits, 1 in Sept-2024 & today, It has been proven to me that the Manager knows her stuff. She is so professional, knowledgeable, ( Non of that, " Ah..wait, I need to ask my supervisor"). Not Kathleen, both visits were quick as could be & every Question we had answered. Our Sept visit was to purchase 2 new phones, this takes awhile & in Sept, the store was packed. She never shuffled us off to be assisted by anyone else. The store manager had 3 other employees working & 2 were clearly in training. Kathleen never skipped a beat, keeping her patience, professionalism & Multi- tasking to the max. She had employees asking her questions, Customers calling in with questions, even 1 irrate & rude customer.physically in the store, customers interrupting our service, since they just had a " Quick Question", but Kathleen never lost her place with us all while training 2 new employees on the computer when needed. Of course this visit, because of 2 upgraded phone purchases we had, we still were taken care of swiftly & with a smile. Today's visit was a treat because we were greeted by the Store Manager again, Kathleen. We came to find help with a very constant service / tech issue with my 5 month old phone & to setup Home Fios. Both services were handled quickly & Kathleen had us in & out in no time. I wish all Verizon employees were as Professional & Knowledgeable as this store manager is. Read moreTwo days ago, I called your store to see if you had heard about a particular issue I was having with my phone and had the good fortune of connecting with Bryce. After trying to get help with this issue from other sources, and being left very frustrated, it was nice to talk to a friendly person. I got the idea that maybe Instead of continuing to bang my head against the wall trying to fix the issue, I would prefer to upgrade. However, I was going to be heading out of the country in two days and wasn’t sure I could spare the time to do that before going. On the other hand, I really wanted to have a new phone before going. Today, a Sunday, I called the store and was pleased to connect again with Bryce. I asked him if it would be possible to do the upgrade and have him help so that I could spend a minimum amount of time in the store. He was extremely accommodating and I was able to spend less than 15 minutes in the store and have a brand new iPhone today in time for my trip. In addition, Bryce picked out a case that was very similar to the one I had on my previous iPhone that wouldn’t fit the new one. Considering that I had done some research, I was surprised about all of the conflicting info that I was given when I visited this store. I quickly realized that the sales clerk was just trying to sell me what she had in stock at that time. When I had asked about certain details about certain models, I received info that sounded good, but was incorrect, I quickly realized that might have just as well been dealing with a used car salesperson (no disrespect intended towards the quality pre-owen car salespeople out there). I was so dumbfounded with my experience, that I needed to look up the misinformation that I suspected. My concerns were accurate. Please don't treat me as a fool just because I might be an easy sale. I would not recommend patronizing this store, they don't know what they are talking about. I stopped by out of convenience, but should have gone to a Verizon corporate store. I feel that I should note that I have never left negative feedback, but I hope someone sees this and saves their time, and maybe even saves themselves from being misled as to a product's capabilities.
