I just had a horrible experience this morning with one of the employees at the Eastlake location. I went to the store at 8:30 AM to look for cleaning supplies and toilet paper but there were none. I waited in line so that I can ask the lady when the best time was to visit the store to find these supplies available. She quickly and shortly said I donât know and left it like that. That prompted me to ask well when do you usually get delivery or see it sold the most. I have seen her in the past so I know that she is not a new employee. She abruptly said well I donât know I was supposed to get a shipment today and it wasnât here so I donât know. I said thank you and left the store but when I got in the car I was so upset at the treatment that I went back into the store to ask with the managers name was and what her name was she told me Erica and Erica. I asked so then you are the manager? She said yes. I told her that is unfortunate because today and the last time that I spoke with you in the store you were rude and unprofessional. She said thank you. I said so as a manager you are not going to apologize to the customer for your treatment or how you came off? She said no everybody has their own opinion. I asked for the district managers name she let me know it was Servando I asked for the last name and she Was not able to...
Read moreAbsolutely ridiculous experience. This woman, gray hair, bangs, and silver frame glasses refused to take our bill even though it was real. She claimed she âknew the signsâ but couldnât even find the marker to properly check it. When asked about said signs she couldnât provide one. Instead of working with us or finding a solution, she flat-out refused and said she âwonât argueâ with us when all we were doing was trying to find a middle ground. This seemed like her favorite phrase to say, as she kept dismissing our valid question and answered with the same âIâm not gonna argue.â Not to mention she always has an extremely unwelcoming attitude, as this is my local family dollar and I come in there all the time and she always catches an attitude. EXTREMELY unprofessional...
Read moreI am assuming family dollar doesnât require any type of previous customer service experience to work at the Eastlake location. The employees will make it a point not to address you and when they do, they are completely rude and dismissive, or donât even know where things are. Iâve encountered one employee in particular that will not say one word to me during the entire check out transaction, even the bare minimum of giving me my total. Itâs actually very uncomfortable, I only go here because itâs close to my house, but never expect any help. I sincerely hope reviews like this prompt performance reviews, or a change of staff all together, customer service is non-existent. Iâm only giving one star review because I couldnât post this without...
