As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by a super nice young lady that asked if I was looking for something in specific, she then asked if it was my 1st time there and I told her yes. She showed me around the store (yes it's not big but it is well distributed). She mentioned that since it was Thursday, they have a special where they will grill your meat for you for free as long as it is over 2lbs. Her next sentence made me so happy...She said let me get you some cooked arrachera so you can try our marinade. I looked over the meat counter display to review the different cuts and a few seconds later she came out with a little sample of the best arrachera I have ever tried. I am not lying to you, it really was the perfect balance of salt and charcoal flavor. It was also the most tender arrachera I have had! As I gobbled that sample up, I ordered 2 lbs of arrachera and 1.5lbs of bistec del 7. While I waited the carnicero was super nice and gave me some details about their 1st location which I also appreciated, and he also had me try some of their salsas with chicharrones botaneros. Omg! Everything there was delicious! The owner then came out the back with my steaming hot order within 10 minutes and took me to the front cashier. She proceeded to thank me for stopping by and also told me they make artisan tortillas, desserts and mentioned everything was made by them. What more can I say? Had some taco plates ordered for a work event , they came with Asada tacos rice and beans and a drink . Was blown away at the flavor and tenderness of the meat , the richness of the charro beans which again had a great flavor. Topping it off was the rice . Fluffy , flavorful and definitely made with live . Not just knorr and rice . Was so good . Will 100% order again . I’m sorry I didn’t get pictures I was too busy eating it ....
