We received a flyer in our mail advertising area rugs on sale. "Over 250 to choose from" so we decided to head over and check them out as they were on sale for 10% off. After looking at the most expensive rugs we perused the store and found 2 rugs in the back that were on the floor for display. We picked two rugs. One was supposed to be new and would be available for pickup at their distribution center a short distance away. We were offered 5% on both rugs at the time of sale because "they were not part of the sale". Ok. So after waiting about 20 minutes or so we were told the rug was not in stock and we would have to go back to the store and pick up the floor model. Annoying. This process is starting to consume the day and lots of running around. Upon arriving at the store we were offered a $7 discount for the dirty rug from the floor. Really? It was the last one in stock and after everything we had already gone through we regrettably accepted the meager discount. The sales rep did call me back as she was at lunch when we went back and not available. She apologized for the mix up but offered no additional compensation or future discounts for their "computer error". I told her thanks for the apology but considering the way we were treated we probably would not be doing business with them...
Read moreI think we will not buy again at House Hold Furniture the day we arrived Gabby served us she told us that she had only been working at the furniture store for a short time the truth is that she did not seem to want to work it was not the attention that we expected from the worker finally the living room that we liked was discontinued yes they gave us a discount price we were not very convinced because the living room that was in storage was missing a piece in the end the manager spoke with the owner and the missing piece was given to us as a second hand meaning "used" we told her that we had gone to another furniture store and they told us that in that furniture store they lied to their customers about the prices they put high prices to end up with the same prices as them well today we went to the storage for our living room and oh surprise we arrived and one of the pieces was not in a box it was damaged and stained we spoke to the manager and she did not give us a good reason we told her that we were not happy with everything that happened give us 1 "used" piece and we had to return to the furniture store for the other piece because the storage room was damaged. We were supposed to have a $400 store credit for never using the warranty we purchased for some furniture we bought 2 years ago. We were about to purchase a new bed when the rep informed us that the manager would not honor it be we had called in to tell the the some kitchen chairs were lose and wobbling when I checked they were missing screws. So the manager says that was part of the warranty keep in mind it was a mistake on their part but still did not give us our $400 back. I hope those $400 were worth losing 2 customers and this bad review. Make sure to read the fine print because they won’t tell u this. To this day they still haven’t responded to this post.
