LA Terraza Mexican Bistro — Restaurant in Texas

Went for the first time today and definitely never going back. There were only 3 tables and our food took so long to get to the table, one of the plates was wrong but we didn’t wanted to complain because we figured it was gonna take another probably 30 min to replace the plate but when we tasted the food it was really bland no flavor at all, the steak we ordered it medium and it was raw! we noticed they didn’t even bother to flip the steak for it to cook properly. When we complained to the manager about the food he said that their meat its not seasoned because they want the “natural” flavor, that we can season it with salt and pepper, he did offered to replace our orders but at that point I was already disappointed and didn’t wanted to deal with this. It would just come back the same or worse. So we asked for the check, and they took our plates almost full because we couldn’t even eat them. To our surprise they were charging us full price for everything. We then asked to speak to the manager, after some time we were able to have a discussion with him. He said they don't discount or refund. He walked away. Our waitress then came back asked us for our zelle so she could personally refund our bill. There is no way we would ever accept that. He finally came back with bartender and said he will refund the meal. We were not looking for a free bill. Just some sort of customer service....

This place sucks. I’ve been here on multiple occasions ever since they opened and every time I am disappointed. I think they’ve got one guy working the kitchen, cause the wait for food is ridiculous. You will spend half of your time here waiting for your food. Now, the quality of the food. I’ve never been to any of the LV restaurants so I can only speak for this place, but the food is so bland. No matter what I get it’s just awful tasting. I’ve tried the carne, 0 flavor. The wings were undercooked and the fries come straight out of the frozen bag to the table. One time I came for brunch and I waited probably 40 minutes for cold and soggy chilaquiles. My biggest takeaway, the arrachera. It was the worst thing I tasted. When I went earlier this week, it didn’t even taste like meat. It was mealy and rubbery. The staff were kind enough to take it back, and I got a Terasa burger which was fine. There have been too many occasions where this restaurant lacks proper food quality. I suggest instead of offering a such a wide selection of food, to make a smaller menu and perfect the quality of those dishes instead of making a bunch of mediocre dishes.

And please get more staff for your kitchen! Everyone complains about how...

First time and will be the last. Upon our arrival, the place looked nice. We were seated promptly and the waiter brought us some chips and salsa. Took our drink order and food order. 30 minutes later our food still hadn’t arrived. Needless to say. There was only like 6 other tables with customers so it wasn’t a busy night. After about 40 minutes. My youngest daughter got her order. A microwaved red Barron pizza that was 10 dollars and a side of over cooked fries. 10 minutes after that, my oldest received her order, quesabirria tacos. She said they were good and finished the plate. 10 minutes later, my wife’s plate arrived. Attached a tacos. She said they were lacking flavor and were cold. Finally my plate arrived. I order a tampiqueña plate. The elchiladas were cold. Even the cheese was starting to get hard. The chile relleno had a good flavor but was cold too and finally the arrachera steak was cold and over salted. Over all the place is not good. It was not worth the 100 dollars that we ended up paying for the meal. We will not go back. Extremely disappointed after...
