Hood's Games N' Things — Local services in Horseshoe Bay

Like the Marble Falls location, this place is hit or miss on whether or not it is actually following the listed hours. 2pm on a Saturday. Sign out front says it's open, Google says it's open, but the lights aren't on and no one answers the phone. You can't reliably plan a trip to visit either location due to this inconsistency. It's really unfortunate, too, since the stock is consistently good stuff.

And rather than accept the criticism and doing the bare minimum like leaving a note on the front door to explain the lapse in business, it's always an attack and an excuse. It doesn't take much to let customers know when you break the listed hours.

If the owner could learn from critique, they would have made the changes based on the review for their other location to ensure customers are informed. Instead, they feel offended that their inconsistency is not simply forgiven. I urge you to learn from these reviews instead, because I would love to flip them into...

My family has been going here for years even when they have the other store these people are some of the friendliest people it will help you get anything you need even if they have to order it. One Christmas there was something wrong with my son's Xbox they came to my house fixed it and brought some new games to him for Christmas of which they didn't even charge us we even lived in a different town. Although hoods has had trouble of their own they have still stayed kind nice and willing to serve any time we come in they are awesome please go check it out and if you don't see what you need just talked to the clerk they will be happy to help find...

I have only been in a handful of times but everytime I have shopped here the lady behind the counter makes my day. She is always so friendly and takes the time to help u out and answer any questions u might have about what your purchasing.
