The only place I will spend money getting my nails done! Every single place no exaggeration, out of every place in and out of town these magically gifted do-er of all things nails professionals are the only ones that not one nail breaks off the same day, not 2 days later, ladies & gentlemen yes it's not unmasculine for men to get pedicures or manicures- we all kno wat yall do with those hands besides working hard lol, the nails they do here last me without even a chip a month sometimes 2 straight up no chaser needed, its that smooth. I love all of them there Jennifer is stern but that's because she knows her stuff I promise, she knows what will last and what is a waste and she will get her point across subtly lol when she does my nails I come in say nails feet or both, pick colors, and let her handle everything from there. She'll ask about length when the time comes but she already has your perfect length picked ready to cut, she maybe a little rough but she's through & precise. Her husband is a bit more flexible in terms of what you want length wise and filler go. He is also super through not one bump scratch or ding have I saw them let me Leave with unless I did serious convincing that I was more than fine with(once only) that being said make sure you come with at least an hour to spend sometimes 1 ½ hours on pedi mani days. The 65$ ultimate deluxe with extra massage is my must have they use hot stones, hot towels, your choice of scent-amazing doesn't come close! I swell like an elephant during pregnancy and I have an ingrown toe nail that makes my toe go numb sometimes, if you or someone you know suffers from this perscribe at least 1 visit a week, if u can afford it and especially if you have the time to spare! I'd come everyday if I had the dedicated time. Kim is my favorite for pedicures, I don't think she really likes doing it but she does sometimes but she has the easiest more relaxing hands, the very skinny aunt is my #2 choice but again I don't think she likes/does it very often. The other aunt is very sweet and committed I love her too, she just may be a little rough for your first time with her. Over time I've gotten more used to her and come to appreciate her attention to those pressure points, they hurt u, she hurts them, they stop hurting u. Also nobody has ever got the whole ingrown out except her, I am the same with her as Jennifer I'm trying to remember her name, I hate I keep forgetting it, it's super unique and similar to my name but you'll kno if she's who u get. She does almost all my pedi and no lie, it's been 4 or 5 months since I went and looked brand new till 2weeks ago! Thanks for reading hope it helps. Read moreBe sure to ask the price up front. I asked for acrylic, I was expecting to pay $35 and leave a $5 tip, but she did something different than acrylic to my nails (maybe because I wanted white tip, but I've never had someone do anything different just because of white tip and maybe it was communication error and she thought I said "white dip"???) and then charged $50 which wasn't even a price option on the price board. Finally we settled on $45 including tip. I've never been charged more than $40 at anyplace because I usually just get a basic acrylic white tip, so in retrospect I would ask in advance what s/he's doing to my nails and what the price is going to be (since both of those were misunderstood). And on their end - they need to update their prices on the price board if they're wanting to charge more because the prices on the board were what I was expecting to pay and the price I was charged was changed unexpectedly (and only through verbalization - after it was already done). They should have you fill out on the sign in clip board in a comment section (or check box) of what type of nail you're wanting so they can read it instead of guessing it or trying to understand. And then you can write specifics of what you want nails to look like such as: "Acrylic, super short, white tip, square, very thin use of the acrylic"... Or whatever type of nail you are wanting, and then they can match what you want and tell you a...
Read moreI've never been so rudely treated at a salon! I had dipping powder on my nails specifically so that no grinding is done to remove it, however, the nail tech here didn't want to wait the required time for the polish to soak off and when I asked that she not use the grinder she told her manager (not in English) that she was going shopping and walked out without saying anything to me. I was handed off to another nail tech. I told them that what she did was very rude and I was going somewhere else to get my nails done. They didn't even finish taking off my old polish even though I told them I'd pay for it; the manager told me the other place I go to can finish taking off my old polish! I even had to ask where their sink was, to wash off the acetone; they wouldn't do that either. I will never go back! No wonder there were no other customers. I proceeded to Envy Nails, where they took...
