I always had wonderful memories going to Subway growing up and into my adult life. So, naturally, I was thrilled to have a location in the store I work in. My fiancé and I had a meal in this restaurant to celebrate my new job, even. But starting toward the end of October, the staff has been unkind to us. They claimed that consuming outside food in their lobby was a "health code violation" (we were buying their food too but changed our minds after that). We complained and were assured we were in the right as we were buying something. It took us a month to try again, only to be told it was okay "just this once". We let that slide for the moment. Days later, we came to just eat Subway. I was trying to order online and he was digging through his shopping bag to look at one of his items. Someone hurried toward us and started questioning whether we were eating there. We complained again. The harassment was unacceptable. John seemed understandably frustrated, but said he would take care of it. Good, I thought. Finally we can eat in peace. Wrong. He returned to the restaurant a couple weeks later and a kind stranger bought him a meal. He ate it at a leisurely pace as he played some games, seeing the lobby wasn't too busy. He only refilled his soda once. After an hour, he was approached by a staff member and informed he had exceeded the "time limit". There was no signage indicating a time limit, just as there was no signage about outside food. My fiancé said that when he asked about the time limit, the staff looked at each other for a moment and then one said it was 30 minutes. He was told that they needed seats available for their customers, as if he wasn't a customer. I worked at a fast food restaurant and I didn't care who paid for the food. A guest with a paid-for meal from the restaurant is a customer. Simple as that. We attempted to call and complain one more time and were dismissed as John was too busy. We got a call back from somebody else only for my fiancé to be blamed for his treatment at the restaurant. I can understand having a time limit but those expectations need to be clear and the rule should be enforced fairly. It shouldn't be used to single someone out and ruin their day. Hours later, we were banned for 60 days for "weekly formal complaints" and "hanging up on John". Neither is true. Because of these ongoing issues, I don't recommend this Subway and unfortunately will be avoiding all area Subways for the...

The manager followed me to the service desk, and began hurling insults and loudly And obnoxiously yelling at customers that i was banned from subway for stealing, i was a thief, and had thrown money at her cashier. This place is horrid, as is its...
