It's very unfortunate I wanted to like this place and the women owner , but unfortunately after walking in and spending $110 on a purchase I ended up getting scolded for holding up the owner to close. The owners complaint was that she closed at 4:30 pm I arrived at 4:20 pm and I ended up staying an extra 30 minutes after closing, I'm over here thinking wow shes accommodating me while I grab my paint but the whole time she was irradiated that I came in and was actually buying stuff. I proceed to check out after she said its 30 minutes after closing please check out now because she had somewhere to be, I told her thank you so much for accommodating me while I grabbed my paint to purchase she looked at me and said yes I have to pick up my daughter and I'm late now. I responded with I'm so sorry you should of told me you had to go and the owner said I told you I close at 4:30 pm and give me a complete attitude. As an owner of a company myself who's been in business for over 8 years I would never treat or talk to my customers with so much attitude especially when the customer is thanking the owner for accommodating her while she spends over $100 the first time she visits this store! Customer service is huge I will not be returning I will go online and other stores around Katy. Depending on your response (owner) I'm open for you to make it right by responding with humility and give a solution to remedy this bad customer service experience. If no response it completely shows what you (owner) displayed which is pride and disregard for customers and customer service. And don't try owner the cheap I don't recognize this customer nonsense, owner take responsibility for your actions and make it right so your business can thrive...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe night before the store opened on May 12, 2020, I communicated with Jannet via message that I wished to purchase a small white hutch with heart molding perfect in size for the small space I had in my home. Jannet sent me an invoice mid-morning and I called her back, speaking with her directly, confirming I received it, asked about delivery cost and options and that I wished to use my husband's credit card and would call her back shortly with payment information to complete the sale. In the short amount of time it took me to call her back with that information, she sold the item to someone else!! I was completely shocked and asked her to please do the right thing and honor the sale already in progress with me. In response, Jannet replied she has many people who say the same thing (that they will call back) and never call back. That is not justification however for how I was treated. In addition, within a few minutes following our conversation, Jannet disabled me from the KTX Insider page for no clear or apparent reason. To Jannet, please honestly evaluate yourself and your business practices and strive to conduct your business fairly, honestly and ethically. And if an invoice is sent to a customer, please honor it for a fair and reasonable amount of time before selling that item out from under someone. I feel incredibly hurt, cheated, mistreated and disappointed and hope this experience never happens to anyone else. I still feel incredibly sad and I have never felt so undercut and so unfairly mistreated by any business. Ever. Please consider supporting other businesses as my family will be doing....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI started following KTX Home after my sister in law bought a few pieces from their store. The store is very clean and they have it set up where you can see the pieces well. Their pieces were unique, good quality, and had a range of different items. At the time of my purchase I was looking for a dining room table and found one with chairs to go with. After purchasing (very reasonable price I might add), we set up a delivery day which was also very reasonable! Jannet and team are so nice and helpful with the whole process. Long story short, I actually ended up purchasing another piece the next day but did it online since I did not have the time to go back to the store. I had seen it the previous day and could not stop thinking about it. Even the purchasing online was a breeze! Since it was the weekend and I needed to have enough $ in my account, Jannet had me put 1/2 down (plus tax) and I was able to pay the remaining amount Monday. The extra for delivery was not bad at all either and they were able to combine it with the dining room table and chairs already scheduled for the following weekend. The delivery was right on time that weekend and they had called before to let me know about what time they would be there. The gentlemen were very nice and professional and moved everything in carefully and didn't leave a scratch anywhere in my house or new furniture.
