Texas T Tavern — Restaurant in Houston

This used to be Brittmoore Icehouse years ago. In 2014, they redid the space and it’s now Texas T Tavern. I went for a birthday party and I was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed the evening. TTT is dog friendly, has a nice large outdoor patio with beautiful trees to provide shade, large TVs everywhere to catch a game, great service, very friendly staff, terrific drink prices, live music, and lots of available parking. There’s also a small party room for private events. They have food to order. Quesadillas, chicken strips, and other.Finger foods. I didn’t get a chance to see the menu outside of what was provided for the party, but I did see their advertisement for Thursday steak night, so they probably have a full menu. TTT has a resident 8 year old parrot named Baby. She’s a talker and is not fond of women. She’s very entertaining. The inside area is right off the patio. The whole place is open and cozy. It kills me cuz I love the vibe of this place really do but last night they lost a future customer cuz one of the bartenders lost my debt card I know I'm not tripping when I paid for a bucket cuz the guy ask me if I wanna leave it open or close it I said open right right after that he just walked off I'm here thinking nothing of it cuz some places do keep your card this was my second time going so I didn't know once me n my buddies were about to leave I went back to get my card he told me we don't hold cards back here I gave it back to you n me I was getting Soo pissed off cuz the way all the bartenders were treating me like I was a stupid child I wasn't having it i didnt care how mad i looked in front of people but no one gonna disrespect me so I canceled my card I'm out yall lost my business overall beautiful bar with non professional trashy staff what a waste of a good place to chill hope they found it someone got in trouble for it this is people money here I take my personal items seriously so karma real hope they learn...

This place is just great. I have been coming here for about 3 years and there has never been a dull moment. The bartenders make you feel like you're part of the Texas Tavern family. The drink prices are good and for the ladies they have a weekly ladies night which the drinks are even cheaper for you guys! the best night are Fridays and Saturdays. They also have karaoke Sundays. As far as dress code there really isnt any. I have been here with a t-shirt and shorts and also highly dressed up after meeting. This is also a great place to watch sports games. I love watching the Astros and Rockets game here SPECIALLY during playoff. It gets loud and fun during those times. In my opinion Fridays are the best night because they have the best mix of music for my own personal taste from Top 40, hip hop to old school dance music, they even throw in some latin music as well.
