So. Very. Disappointed. My husband contacted Eve in early July to create a custom wedding set for me using the diamonds from my late grandmother's wedding set. He wanted at least the engagement ring ready for our surprise September 4th ceremony with family and friends. We hadn't heard anything from them so we called on August 20th to check on the progress of the piece. We were told at that time "Oh, let me see if I can find your order". We were assured that the piece would be ready in time. We were called on August 30th and advised that the ring was ready and they wanted to do the final fitting. We went in and were shocked at the piece that was designed for us. It wasn't AT ALL similar to what was discussed, or the reference pictures. When Nancy was questioned about the work she gave several excuses of Hurricane Beryl, a new software update that they had yet to figure out, the diamonds being a different size than they anticipated, and being generally busy. I asked if anything could be done to redesign the piece so it was more in line with what we wanted and the response was "Not in 2 days" (Which would have been the original deadline that we were given). Sadly, we chose to have her return the raw materials to us so we could find a jeweler that would be able to work with our vision. Which meant that I had no ring for our wedding ceremony on September 4. Thankfully, although she never admitted to the workmanship not being up to par, she did offer a full refund of the deposit amount. However that refund did not come without a guilt trip about all the time and resources that they were "out". I genuinely think that they forgot about our order and tried to throw something together at the last minute and pass it off as work they were proud of. However, you can be the judge...pictures below of the inspiration photo, the sketch that she drew, and the...
Read moreWe have been customers of Eve’s Custom Jewelry for some years now, mostly obtaining services for minor jewelry repairs, cleaning, etc. In June 2024, I damaged my anniversary ring which included losing one of the small diamonds. Eve’s replaced the missing diamond and now my anniversary ring shines brilliantly and looks better than new!
I also inquired about how best to keep my wedding rings from turning sideways and upside down on my finger. After speaking with Nancy, she recommended fusing the two rings together, widening the band and squaring out the bottom to balance the weight. Nancy very meticulously explained the process and provided a sketch of the finished product.
I picked my wedding ring up this past weekend and I am ecstatic!!! For the first time in 35 years, I can actually see the diamonds on the top of the ring. No more slipping sideways and upside down. I can’t stop looking at it. From the top, it still looks like two separate rings in the set. I love, love, love, the squared bottom. This is it exactly what was needed. No other jeweler had ever recommended this so I had resorted to just “living with it”. Not anymore! Thank you Nancy for giving me the perfect, original wedding ring! I can’t wait to work with you on the additional custom pieces using my parents’ wedding bands!
I highly recommend Nancy and team at Eves’s Custom Jewelry. They are best in class jewelry professionals who are attentive to their customers needs. Eve’s produces exceptional pieces and provides high quality work at...
Read moreI went in today 6/21/19 to get my wedding ring cleaned and re-dipped. It's a white gold 2 karat diamond with 5 -1/8 karat diamonds along each side of the band. I brought the same ring in last year for the same thing and it was $45. They did a great job BTW. Today I was quoted $95 because they said my diamonds also needed tightening. I decided not to leave my ring. I went to Zales to get a quote and it was $50. Which would include any tightening if needed but it could take up to 2 weeks because they ship it out for the work. I then went to Bay Area Jewelers @ Baybrook Mall and they quoted $40 which includes tightening if needed and they do the work in house in 2 days... but then.....as he examined my ring he told me that my diamonds were very secure in my ring. Wow really hum.... So I took the ring to Ribbons Brothers and told them I thought my diamonds felt loose. They took out their handy dandy eye glass and she also told me they are secure. Interesting. I have had several thing done at Eve's including a ring made out of my grandmother's wedding ring and the design was amazing. I have also had diamond earrings made for my daughter. I feel like I was being taken for a ride today. I...
