Let me start out by saying, I already absolutely love love Fossil, I have 3 purses and a wallet. I actually love my fossil more than my Gucci and LV purse….The hardware broke on my my favorite crossbody purse and since I carry the purse majority of the time I really felt like the hardware breaking was normal wear and tare. After looking on line to decide which purse I was going to replace my purse with, i decided to just go by the memorial store because I didn’t want to wait on a new purse to be shipped. The store was a little busy, however, within seconds a young lady name Michelle politely greeted me even though she was the only person trying to help 4 other customers. I told Michelle I was getting a new purse because my previous one broke. She asked for my email and advised me of a 1 year warranty. I had no idea of the warranty but was certainly pleased as I currently have some other financial obligations that has priority over getting a new purse. (But I needed a purse and don’t mind paying for a fossil) I was a few days over a year but Michelle reassured me that if I could return within the next few days with the purse she would be happy to exchange the broken out for a new! I returned to the store as promised and soon as I walked in, Michelle quickly came to help. Again, the store had a few other customers and she was the only one managing the customers making sure everyone was acknowledged and promptly getting help. Read moreWell over all bad watch buying experience for me. Watch I bought us supposed to be 100m(10atm) water resistant. It started showing water accumulation under the glass even though watch was functional. This is the only begining of awful experience with this store.
I took the watch back to return it because I lost trust in the product. The first sales person was too quick to judge me implying Im returning a water damaged product. Well, unless I went scuba diving, I shouldn't be able to water damage the watch according to the manufacturer. The sales person didn't know the difference between 10atm or 10m. Anyways I was asked to talk to someone who looked like store owner.
That gentleman was too busy support me and between them them they decided that I need a the copy of the receipt to make the return happen. It was definitely new to me as I have never seen a store that can't pull up the receipt with credit card that is used to purchase. The person didn't offer any assistance beyond saying they need the receipt while being too busy to help me. At this point the other sales person started telling receipt may be available in the mail account that was given at the purchase. I felt he was being sush'ed by the owner?
Finally I was able to pull up the receipt and make the return. But over all frustrating experience. I felt they didn't want to make the return happen and definitely made me feel like I was steeling their money. And needless to say 100m water resistance of the fossil is...

It's awesome to support a Texas company! And my recent visit to your Memorial City Mall store, was every bit as amazing as the last 15 years shopping with Fossil. ELSY, was so helpful, and really knew her stuff! Elsy listened to what I needed, what I wanted in terms of function and structure, cued into my taste and love of color....AND she was FUN to shop with! What a wonderful staff, with great service ...did I mention my new fine leather purse, smells like a baseball glove? Oh, yeah, the quality!!!
