When I don’t know what I want to eat, I usually find myself at the food court in the mall. I was very disappointed with today’s choice, Bistro Thai. I got the meal with one entree, one side, added a spring roll and a drink. $14.63 for total yuck! The pepper chicken had some flavor, but it was sitting in grease. My stomach turns just thinking about it. The rice had absolutely no taste and the spring roll was mushy, not crispy. I’ve had my share of bad Asian food, but this… this was bad, bad. I wasn’t expecting fireworks at a food court, but this was so subpar, I am surprised they still have a space to rent. In top of it, the guy didn’t give me napkins in my bag, so I had to walk to the nearest spot leaving my food and ask for napkins. Hind sight, I should have totally left the food and gone back to work. The presentation is what got me. The sneeze guard windows were all very clean, the food itself looked good and I was impressed with their friendliness. That’s where it all ended. That was their only good to offer. When you pay, the machine has one of those tip requesting messages on the screen. I typically don’t do tips for this type of service; dollars that it, but I do have a tip for them now: use some spices, crisp up the spring rolls and enough with the grease already. I believe in giving grace, but I will not return for a second try. It was that bad. Ended up wasting money since most of my lunch went into the trash after seeing all the...
Read moreI give this place 1 star due to lack of customer service . The food was great but the Chinese lady who is the manager lacks customer service skills. We ordered three combo meal orange chicken and lo mein. I split the plate between 4kids when 2 of them noticed hair in the food. The only one wearing a hair net was a guy with curly hair in a ponytail . Not asking for anything I let the lady know there is multiple pieces of hair in the food. She immediately attacked my daughter and i by screaming well throw the plate away. I said excuse me I’m not asking for anything I am bringing to your attention that there is hair in the food. Perhaps you all should wear hair nets like the gentlemen next to you. The guy with the hair net was more calm and apologized while she kept in attitude. So I decided to talk to him and ask for the manager and he said she was the manager. I just shook my head and told her not asking for anything back or a new plate. But you don’t treat paying customers who is helping support your business when they bring an issue like this to your attention. She still had attitude and just kept saying bye. Very unprofessional. People like her should not be running a business with a lack or sense of customer...
Read moreDO NOT ORDER HERE tldr; If you want to get scammed, this a perfect place to go!
If you want your money to be well-spent on something that is edible, desire some form of respect, or are just looking for something to satiate your tastebud. You can literally go to ANY of the surrounding stores and you will get better service, food, and experience than compared to this "Thai" restaurant. Their version of "pad Thai" was a haphazard pile of goop that was smeared with an unknown sauce and used Pho noodle as the carb base. When questioned, the owner of the establishment stated "that is OUR Pad Thai." There was no shame in her voice in discussing the horrid condition of her food, she held pride in it. When pushed about the fact that the mess I received was not pad thai (as I grew up in this food), the owner responded with " I do not talk to mean customers who question my food. Go away." Again, with questioning the owner's food, there was just a blatant disregard for the customer's questions. This simple interaction should be a clear indicator of the quality and respect that this restaurant establishment holds for itself: scamming you out of our your money while trying to cut corners and make...
