Hair and Company Salon — Local services in Houston

I had my hairstylist for several year in this salon with Mr. John Bullard and he left to NJ. I’m still miss him. The staff in this salon are good and professional but is hard for me to trust ( this is personal).

Anyway I think the price are high too, but the quality is always better than others salons more affordable I’m been experienced here in this area, that can end up with a total disaster. Definitely this is the place I will go when I’m passing through this town in my intermittent traveling.

After John left, Ami has took care of me, and last time I’m visited her she did an awesome haircut and dyed my roots. I was very happy client. Price was high, I guess that’s what you pay for quality.

One observation to the salon is that I’m an extremely private quiet person that doesn’t like to share much about myself and the shooting of several questions to make me feel good looking for casual friendly conversation is not for me. Perhaps I’m start to feel uncomfortable and stressed. I'm new to Texas, from San Francisco originally and I had no idea what salon to go to, so I checked on yelp and spoke to Steve the manager and he squeezed me in with Ami. Not only were Ami and steve so polite and responsive I was able to text them photos of what my current hair looked like and what I was looking for. Ami is absolutely amazing! She truly goes above and beyond for her clients and really spends time making them look beautiful! I absolutely love my cut, bayalage and the gray touch up was amazing! I've been to some of the best and most expensive stylists in California and Ami is hands down 100% the best stylist! Her prices are great and between her and Steve - they make you feel like family! :) She truly cares about her work and makes you feel like a million bucks...

I went to John Serra after my friend highly recommended him. I have natural dark hair and he did a beautiful and natural caramel balayage to lighten my hair without damaging it with bleach.
