Jay is absolutely a master at his craft. I am a first time client who came in with different color hues of orange, blonde, and brown from my previous hairstylist who didn’t correctly color my hair. Mind you, I let my hair grow out quite a bit so my natural black hair was already showing about 4 inches. I went in for a consultation and then a few days later he worked a miracle! He really took the time to explain, educate, listen, and execute. He truly had my hairs health and quality in mind while trying to achieve what I wanted. I was only scheduled 4 hours which wasn’t enough time to get my hair completely done. He took it upon himself to fit me in later that evening to finish my hair late into the night. I can’t thank him enough! He did an entire 360 with my hair! He took the necessary steps to correct my hair and then color it. I would definitely recommend Mane Tame by Jay! He went above and beyond! I’ve been going to Jay for about 4.5 years now, and I can honestly say he is the best in the business! I never leave disappointed. I always get exactly what I want, if not better! His attention to detail and passion for getting the perfect shade is truly something special. I genuinely cannot recommend Jay enough! I had been box dying my hair for years, heat treating it every day, letting my fiancee cut it and had been trying to let it grow out naturally. Still, I was nervous to go get my hair done by someone else because it usually didn't turn out how I would've liked. Jay absolutely blew me away. It was immediately clear that he's very well practiced and works in such an artistic and professional manner. I've never been so comfortable in the chair and the results were way better than I could've imagined possible, especially with what he had to work with. He gave me a gorgeous blonde balayage, removed the yellow/orange with a toner, and cut my hair beautifully without loosing too much length....
