The experience was okay. I was going from a dark brown (which did have some box dye) to a cherry brown color. I don’t love my color because my roots came out more purple and my ends are a copper color which is not what I asked for. Many pieces have a stark line where she bleached. I can’t wear my hair straight. I will have to curl it or keep it in an updo until I can go get it fixed. I will go get someone to fix it in a few weeks. My stylist was late for my appointment because she overbooked and then didn’t actually style my hair at the end. She just dried it and sent me on my way with a frizzy mess. If I would have known I wasn’t getting styled then I would have asked for her to let it air dry. I won’t be coming back here. I was super excited about getting new hair and I’m overall disappointed by this experience.
Update: 6/8/2024 I got a call from the manager of the salon after my original post. She asked if I would come back in and let them fix the color. It would have been more expensive to go somewhere else so I agreed. The purple and banding was fixed by just making the color a little darker. I love this new color. It’s exactly what I wanted. They also styled my hair the second time which was really nice because I had a wedding to go to. I appreciate the salon reaching out to fix...
Read moreI’ve debated whether to post this review because my stylist was very nice and the overall salon was as well but my hair color did not turn out as expected. My hair turned out very red instead of dark brown. Even my stylist looked at it dry and said shes been having issues with this brand of color the salon uses so if this isn’t what I wanted they can re-do it. When i got home and saw my color under my own lighting it was definitely VERY red. The salon was very accommodating and I did go back for a re-do which was an inconvenience and it did not include a blow dry so I had to walk out with wet hair (not the end of the world but annoying). The color was better but still really not the dark brown I wanted. A lot of my grays in the underside of my hair did not take either. Now seeing my natural roots coming in I can really see how red and off the color was. My hair stylist I go to for my cuts also commented on it saying I had a “hot root” To spend $175 and not be happy sucks. Not sure if it was the fault of the stylist or the brand color the salon uses but either way that’s the basis for review. I’d honestly probably give it a 2 star but the employees were all very nice and the salon was clean and cute so I’ll give it a 3 but definitely would...
Read moreJust want to take a minute and brag on my girl Nacole. I've been seeing Nacole for almost a year now. And even though she's new to THIS salon, I'd follow her now matter where she went, because she is just THAT good. She takes her time and is a perfectionist, which I can admire because I pretty much am too. When I met her almost a year ago, I was enquiring about extensions. I've never had them before and I was super nervous because I have very thin, fine, mature hair. She quickly put my mind at ease and let me know that with proper care, my hair would end up looking better than it did before I got my extensions. Hard to believe right. Well, I'm here to tell you, she was 100% right.
She's also available if you ever have any questions or concerns about your hair after your appointment. I not only recommend her, I 1000% recommend her. Her chair side manner is also top notch! She's the only one that I trust with my hair now. The transformation that she has been able to achieve is unbelievable. If you're looking for a new hairdresser... give her a shot, you won't...
