I went this morning to get my groceries and I saw the strawberries where $1.98 so I grabbed 2 boxes. When I went to pay on the self-check out section I noticed they where $2.28 so I notified the lady that was apparently in charged in this area. She had an attitude! She tried to get someone to check the price a few times, but no one responded. She called her manager, and then she approached me and gave a full $2.28 discount and said (in a very rude manner): this is the right price but the manager told me to give you this discount. This made me feel very uncomfortable so I paid and went to double check the price. First, I think it was nice of the manager to that eventhough I wasn't really asking for a free thing I just wanted to get the product for the amount it said in the shelf. Second, that lady had no need to make feel like I was making up the whole thing to get a $0.30 discount.

This is the worst Kroger store you will ever experience. The store is to small for the area it has to serve. No reason trying to shop here empty shelves where the things you really need should be. I can't even get gasoline here without something going wrong. Traffic controls are need in the parking lot. Employees seemed to be overwhelmed and just don't care anymore. I have taken to shopping the Kroger at Shadow Creek, pure shopping Paradise.

Updated 02/23/24:

After a 3 month boycott of this store, I tried this horrible Kroger again and nothing has changed.

At 10:30 a.m. on 02/23/24 they had SEVEN ELECTRIC CARTS yet NOT ONE HAD ENOUGH CHARGE TO BE USED! You would think some genius could charge at least one overnight if they can’t get any charge in 4.5 hours after opening.šŸ¤”

This REPEATED PROBLEM convinced me that the Official Kroger Policy on Disability Services must be:

ā€œWe don’t give a damn about the disabled and just want them to stop cluttering up our stores. Please shop elsewhere.ā€ šŸ¤¦ā€ā™‚ļø

Updated 11/28/23:

This store has DROPPED from Five Stars in 2017 to One Star in 2023. This store is EXTREMELY UNFRIENDLY TO DISABLED CUSTOMERS. If you need an electric cart for mobility, NEVER EVER GO TO THIS KIRBY/MAIN LOCATION.

There were SIX electric carts ā€œavailableā€ but only one worked at all. Then I had to return to the front of the store in less than 5 minutes as it lacked enough charge to traverse the width of the store so I was unable to get all items I wanted.

Perhaps disabled customers should just avoid ALL Kroger stores. Twenty minutes before this nightmare on Kirby, I went to the Buffalo Speedway store. They had at least SIX ELECTRIC CARTS and not a single one of them was functional at all so I left without entering the store.

I like this Kroger at Kirby & Main. The store is generally better stocked & cleaner than other nearby Kroger stores. I also like the parking as the spaces are large enough that your vehicle doesn't get dinged every time...

I placed a delivery order last night,

First, I want to express how disappointed I am. I had a bad experience. I current work from home so I couldn't leave my home yesterday and I have my sick kid, so I decided to place a delivery order so I wouldn't have to worry about leaving my home, leave work unattended, and have to get my kid ready. The order was supposed to arrive between 6:36pm and 8:36pm.Ā  The order I placed had items what I was going to use to make dinner.

After going down stairs in my apartment and waiting for the driver to call so I could meet them with my grocery wagon so they wouldn't have to come up to my door, I never saw anyone.

I used the chat to try to communicate and eventually after 9:00pm, I called and spoke to a representative only to be told that my order was cancelled. The driver made it to my address but never contacted me. I was outside with my wagon in the same parking lot that the driver was it. I was never contacted.

I really want to express how disappointed I am woth this service. Not only that, but the inconvenience it caused. I had specifically placed a delivery order so I wouldn't have to leave my home. I ended up still having to go out late at night to buy something to eat for my household.

On top of that, my cars was charged and it's still pending and I was told it was going to take 7-10 business days for the transaction to drop, which is more inconvenient because I could be using that money to buy...

My spouse and I went shopping here last night. We went there to purchase a small rose bush for our daughter. There was a mix up in prices, which wasn't a big deal. After we rang up our entire purchase at the self checkout, a staff member rushed up and took the plant out of our bag, walked accross the store and checked the price, and made a price up after being unable to provide the correct price. We were treated as if we were thieves stealing a rose bush out of Kroger. At this time, both the manager amd associate refused to serve us the product at the correct price. Meanwhile, a man with a cart full of groceries makes the alarm go off on the way out. THEY TOLD HIM TO GO AHEAD. YOU ARE OK!. Shortly after that, the police arrived and physically removed her from the store. For she was understandably irate. She was thrown on the ground before they even asked for our side of the story. They said they call was a "Crisis Situation". We have never witnessed or been a part of such harrassment. Unfortunately Kroger has lost two loyal customers. We are never shopping here again. And will be spending our time and money at other grocery supply chains.

I believe that it is necessary for management and employees be trained more on customer relations. I also believe that managers and employees are not reprimanded enough for...
