La Costeña Meat — Local services in Houston

I would love to give this place a five star because I do believe Margarita is a good woman but as far as professionalism, no. I try to stop in before I go to work in the morning, they always hold me up by taking literally ten minutes to get to the register. They do not care about timeliness or what a convenience store is all about. They will stare at you as you wait but I am thinking that's only for people who aren't Hispanic because she rushes a bit more for her "friends". I would spend way more money here because it is right near my house but I know I would have to think about the additional minutes it would take just to receive customer service. Ugh....

Her tacos are BOMB ! I go everytime I go drop my son off at daycare since it's close . Quick and she speaks broken English but we get each other . I'm Hispanic and eat Mexican food all the time . But her food ... so damn good !! The tangy spicy cabbage on top of the food .....delish ! I love it ! Say what y'all want but oh girl...

I don't know what is up with these people but the cashier and the cooks all have attitude. If you are trying to get a quick meal here, forget about it. They look at you as if you are crazy and finally take your order when they feel like it. Customer service is not the best here. Food is good but not worth the dirty...
