Read moreWish I could give no stars. I came here 2 weeks ago and placed an order. First the older lady at the register was rude as she gave me blank stare as if I was in the wrong place, she did not greet me , I had to speak to her first inquiring about the order I placed. She gave me my food with no utensils and when I asked for a straw she stared at me and did not say anything I had to ask her twice. The food is rated a 4 it is good but there are better options nearby.
Because of the food I came back hoping I just caught them on a bad day. I called the and the lady hung up without taking my name as I was still asking questions and was not finish placing my order . When I arrived to the restaurant a lady came out and said they did not have any order and how long ago did I call. So you all are rude. And neglectful!
Make note that the younger slim lady was better.
I will be honest I am a Black woman and this place did not show the same service to me as the other customers. This is a place that is created for people who are of the same culture not for Americans of all races . Yes I said it. Twice visiting and people don’t make eye contact when speaking and ignore you. You can tell that my food was thrown together. So you can take my money but you can’t greet me or look at me when I am speaking to you?
This will be my last visit but I will make sure to share with all and on social media about my experience. A note to the owner do better! You are in the 4th largest most diverse city in America you will get all types of customers. Be respectful, professional and treat All with the same level of respect Your service is disgusting in...
Read moreWe ordered the Lamb Haneeth and the Chicken Mandi: Tender, flavor-soaked meats served on a bed of Basmati Rice with pleasing, appetizing spices the perfect amount of blend and mix can only be done by a skilled chef from Yemen. Each meal is almost good for 2 and it comes with yoghurt sauce and tomato chutney that brings out the rice's delectable flavors like nothing else can. Complemented well with a basket of traditional Kubus (Arabic flat bread) which soaks that rustic, simple, yet oh-so-satisfying Hummus with a taste that brings me and my wife back to when we were gorging out in the United Arab Emirates. As soon as we enter the place, the family area at the left corner immediately caught our attention: A well-padded and carpeted area where one gets to experience the traditional Arab dining - sitting crossed-legged on the floor with a low table. My family and I went all the way and we ate with our bare hands instead of utensils: Trust me, there is a primal yet appetizing feel to it. I know because we ended up ordering 1 more serving! The chef Ms. Enza(?) and the rest of the staff are welcoming, warm, and very attentive. We were looking for a middle-eastern restaurant since my wife and I moved to Texas this year and this one is a hidden gem: Its almost criminal that this place doesn't get the recognition it so rightfully deserves. In all of the places we've been to so far, this is the best yet: I'd easily give 10 if I can. I am looking forward to returning. If only this wasn't more than an hour and a half drive away from us, I'd come here everyday (something my wife is thankful...
