Be very cautious, and donāt take any promises at face value unless you're okay paying for repairs yourself and sipping disappointment out of a Lamborghini coffee mug while wearing a McLaren hoodie.
As an out-of-state buyer, I put a lot of faith in the salesman who reassured me heād treat the sale with the same care as if he were buying the car for himself or a family member. He answered my questions, documented the condition of the vehicle thoroughly to show me a visible scratch, and promised his detailer would take care of it before the car shipped.
That trust was completely broken.
After I paid for transportation, the driver who filled out the bill of lading noted additional damage that the salesman never disclosed to me. That was a punch in the gut. I had already paid, and now I was stuck with a car that didnāt match what was described.
When the car arrived, I was shocked. That original scratch? Still there. No repair, no touch-up, no effort. I was beyond disappointed.
While I fully understand that purchasing a used car involves accepting some wear and history, this review is NOT about that. Itās about a simple fact: the dealership failed to keep their word.
I reached out to the salesman, who was apologetic and admitted the detailer mustāve missed it. He told me to get a quote from a body shop and assured me theyād cover the cost. I took time out of my day to do just that and provided the quote. Thatās when things went downhill.
The salesman escalated the issue to the sales manager, Mo, who flat-out refused to pay for the repair. Instead, he offered me branded dealership merchandise like Lamborghini / McLaren / Rolls-Royce mugs and apparel; something I never asked for and honestly found insulting since I don't want souvenirs. I respectfully declined and asked only for what was promised: the scratch to be repaired.
Being out of state, this entire situation has been frustrating and completely avoidable if they had just done their job properly in the first place.
To make matters worse, Mo verbally berated me over the phone, claiming the car was in āimmaculateā condition for being used and saying he regretted selling it to me. He even tried to guilt trip me, bringing up that the previous owner was hesitant to trade in the car, as if that was somehow relevant to my concern? The manipulation and lack of accountability were extremely unprofessional.
This experience has left a very sour taste, and I would not recommend this dealership to anyone from...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreJust bought a used Pathfinder over the weekend, yes a pathfinder at Lamborghini Houston! Phillipe Trussell made the buying process so easy and fun. I could not have asked for a better experience I contacted two other dealerships in the Houston area by phone and said I was buying today and writing a check for the full amount. One dealership was out of the way so I asked if they would be willing to come down on the price! The salesman said he would find out and call me back but never did. The other was less than a mile away from my house. I called and the salesman that answered said he was busy and he would call me back but never did. So I called again and told him I wanted to test drive a car. We went to test drive the car but felt rushed the whole time! He was not very professional. After our test drive he told me he couldn't budge on the price. Then he shook my hand and ran off back to the showroom. We went back home gave Lamborghini Houston a call. The receptionist said the sales department was at lunch and she would take my number and have someone call me back. Less than 30 seconds later Phillipe called. Told him the same thing buying today and asked if the car was there? He said he will find out and call me back. He RESPONDED BACK to me within 5 min. Made the appointment, negotiated, made some jokes, laughed, and drove off in my new car two hours later. That's how buying a car should be fun and easy. Never thought I would buy a car from a Lamborghini dealership. Wow! The cars are nice but the people there are worth a lot more! Though we didn't buy a Lamborghini(this time), he made us feel like we did. Very easy going, great environment! Kudos to you at Lamborghini Houston! Thanks again Phillipe Trussell you made a new...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreEverything was great until we bought the car... This was my first time purchasing an exotic supercar and I can honestly say I've had better experiences at used car dealerships! Spending $279k CASH on a car, you would expect top of the line service and communication but this was far from that and by far the worst experience I've had purchasing from a luxury car dealership. After I purchased the car, there was ZERO communication. It took them a week and half to get back to me, first blaming everything on not hearing from the transport company. They finally got me in touch with the manager who didn't help the situation and had a bad attitude. All he had were excuses. It went from waiting for transport to now there being a recall and them waiting on a part. It was excuse after excuse and again NO COMMUNICATION. I was the one reaching out, not once did they keep me in the loop. They promised they would take care of me and hook it up with a bunch of swag. All they gave me was a car cover and some perfume that you'd expect after purchasing a Lamborghini... They finally shipped the car after lying for 3 weeks. They told me it would be serviced and inspected prior to shipping. Upon turning the car on I'm immediately greeted with a hazard that the systems aren't communicating, one of the rims has curb rash, one key dead, the other a low battery and the coolant was not just low, literally the coolant reservoir tank was empty. How is this possible if the car went through service and inspection before being shipped out? Again, all they had were excuses and lies. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone, they make you think you're in good hands but the moment they have your money all customer service and communication...
