I have never experienced worse customer service then I did when I spoke on the phone to the owner of this company, Justin Woolf. Here is what happened: I ordered a chandelier on August 1st, I was told it would take 4-5 weeks but I received it on October 15th (11 weeks later). I am a reasonable person, I realize this is a custom order; therefore, I was patient and courteous every time I called to ask about it. At one point I asked if they offer any sort of compensation for the product taking so long (I was not demanding, just wondering) . . . and this is when I had the misfortune of speaking to the owner. He was rude, disrespectful & dismissive. In so many words, I was told to deal with it or go somewhere else. I was stunned & speechless, I am a nice person and this attack came from nowhere.
I really wanted to support a local business and an American made product but after experiencing his behavior I felt bad for giving him my business ... I sensed that he couldn't be bothered with me since I was not one of his high profile accounts (but this was the most I have ever spent on a light fixture, it was not cheap!)
That being said, I will list a few positives: My chandelier is beautiful, the store itself is tasteful and the sales girls were courteous. Read moreBEWARE! I took a chandelier home on approval and per company policy the store charges your credit card. When I returned the chandelier the same day they allegedly refunded my money but it did not go through. They called and I called back to correct the "mistake", instead they charged me a second time for a total of $7,500. Had my credit card company not called me to correct the second "mistake" and I called them, I don't think they would have corrected it. They caused me to exceed my credit limit, affected my credit score (as my report was unfortunately sent on Sunday before they corrected it) and I couldn't use my credit card for almost two days while it processed for 3-5 days. Their flippant response was "it was a mistake" and "get more credit". We can't all afford an additional $7,500 sitting on our credit card. One mistake maybe, but two is FRAUD. BE CAREFUL and take your business elsewhere. They don't have anything unique that you can't find cheaper elsewhere. Trust me when I say these are really awful people trying to take advantage of others. I wish there was more that I could do outside of posting a negative review. It is so frustrating when people treat others the way this company has treated me.

He and his staff were knowledgeable, personable, and quick to the rescue when we needed a substitution or addition or change. Oh, and did I mention that he has the best store in Houston? So if you're in Houston, or even if you aren't, you should pay a visit. It's like a field trip or museum trip. I'm not a shopper, but I love going here. It's fun...and different...and beautiful!
Justin was a calming influence during the craziness of renovation-time, and the advice he gave was right-on. We love the design, courtesy of RD Architecture, and the hands-on, courtesy of Superior Exterior, but I never realized what a crucial part LIGHT plays in design. We purchased our recessed lights, fixtures and outlets (LeGrand - gorgeous!), specialty lighting, pendants, bath sconces, etc., and even our kitchen chairs (Masters) from Light. We love it all.
