I feel like this place doesn't get enough credit both as a takeout and dine in pizza option in Houston. I'm a huge wood fire pizza fan, and Pizzeria Solario offers VERY tasty pizzas. Located just between some apartments and a little strip of shops and eateries in the greenway plaza area lies this great pizzeria. The exterior is inviting with an old school pickup truck with very old looking wooden barrels, a vibrant yet chic sign, and an elegant patio. The interior is lively yet comfortable. There is something on the menu for the entire family, and this spot is also great for date nights. When you are done with pizza and drinks you can make your way across the street to Edward's Theater for a movie or for some indoor putt putt at Holey Moley. Some tips: When ordering online I was prompted with a10% off order option. I'm not sure how long this promotion will last. Also, it is worth noting that this pizza is not gigantic in size, but it is gigantic in flavor. If you are starving and feel this pizza might not fill you up, you might consider ordering one of their many starters. If you are sharing I recommend getting more than one pizza. This is one of my all time favorite pizza spots in Houston in terms of taste, style, and service. I definitely recommend everyone checks them out! Cheers!!

4 star overall. Small cozy place with an outdoor seating. Place in next to the Costco complex under an apartment complex. Good ambience and the people are nice. Service was ehh (3/5). There were two other parties that complained and one of them actually left early as they were never served. We sat at the bar so that helped. Ok Tuesday they have the $5 drink specials and $10 pizza specials so visit then. Bruschetta (4/5): could be better. Bread was perfect and great addition of pesto but pesto didn’t seem fresh. Pesto chicken pasta (3/5): was bit on the dry side and again the pesto didn’t seem fresh and it felt that the pasta was sitting out for a while before served. I wouldn’t get it again. Margarita pizza with arugula (4/5): too much cheese to my liking so if they cut down on it it would be better. Additionally use of fresh mozzarella cheese would take it up a notch. Overall experience was good but would help if they upped the service a bit and maybe worked on the recipes a bit. Would I try it again - wouldn’t be my first choice but yes I would give it a try to see if the experience was one off or not.

We met a friend for dinner at Solaria Pizzeria. We had an awesome meal and cannot wait to go back! We started with the Soffrito Soup, which was hearty, warm, and full of flavor—perfect comfort food. Then we tried the Caprese Salad, which had a fun twist. Instead of the usual slices, it came skewered with mozzarella pearls, fresh basil, juicy plum tomatoes and sides of thickened balsamic and pesto. It looked great and tasted even better. For the main course, we ordered the Filetti Pizza and added pancetta—and wow, it was incredible. The crust was thin, crisp, and really tasty, and all the toppings worked so well together. Every bite was a hit. The service was also great—friendly, fast, and helpful without being overbearing. Overall, the food was delicious, the staff made us feel welcome, and the whole experience was top-notch. We’ll definitely be back!

Not sure if there's been a major change in staff or management or what because 2 months ago, I raved about this place and would have given it 5 stars. The last 4 times, however, service and quality have significantly decreased. I travel for work during the week and order from here on average 1 time per week. Mostly as take out. Always the same order too. Biancha pizza, add goat cheese, thier meatballs appetizer and a smothered cookie. You would think they would know this order by now. Sometimes I pick it up. Sometimes i order through Favor. I have yet to get everything to make the smothered cookie a smothered cookie. Sometimes I get just the cookie. I make special notes to ensure all is included and still don't receive it.

The meatballs appetizer, the last 3 times, I recieved the meatballs, non-existent sauce. I fell in love with these when I dined in and have yet to have the same experience as a take out. Basically dry meatballs and its bread.

This last time, my biancha pizza, which is a white pizza with a garlic sauce, (not a red sauce) came with some other kind of white sauce and it was inedible.

When I pick up my order, I double check and ask questions. Its usually packed up and harder to unpack and double check. (Hence why all the questions) only to discover items still missing for smothered cookie and dry meatballs once I get home.

Get excuses from staff when I call such as they were busy or they have problems with delivery services such as Favor.

This last time, after getting this pizza that clearly didn't have the garlic sauce, but some other kind of white sauce (I may not be a chef, but I do have some culinary skills and know a garlic sauce from an alfredo) I was passed to 3 different people with the last being the chef. He checked his 'station' and stated it was the garlic sauce. Well, since I order this at least 1 time a week and happen to know what this looks and tastes like and its flavor profile, the 'station' may have been set up correctly when he checked, but the pizza I received was not correct.

Being from the service industry in my past as part of my life journey, I know restaurants can have an off day/night. I tip generously because of this, (many time tip the bill). I give additional chances/opportunity because I know off nights happen. Unfortunately, these last 2 months, the 'off nights' are the norm, not the exception.

If this is local place for you and you can eat in, give it a try. IMO, not worth going out of your way for or ordering as take out. The staff truly doesn't care. Not worth the aggravation of consistent wrong orders and lack of customer service.

IMO...There are many pizza places and restaurants in Houston that will appreciate me as a customer (and you) who will want your business and to come back. Pride in thier 'Brand' and restaurant. I haven't experienced this here in...

Honestly, good food with really bad service! I went to dine in with my friend for dinner. I asked for water with no ice (they just served me iced water), but they never got me that. The whole 45 mins we were there, they didn’t bother to check on us. We wanted to order some more food and drinks, but they didn’t care to ask. After finishing our dinner, we waited nearly 20 mins for someone to come and check on us to see if we needed more food, drinks, or check-but they didn’t care. And btw, it wasn’t busy at all.

I went inside and asked for my check. When I asked our server that I would like to speak to the manager, she said she was the manager. I told her about my experience and all she did was listen and nod. After I was done expressing my concerns, she just turned around and left. NO APOLOGIES, NOTHING. Clearly showing that she didn’t care.

Writing all this just to make you guys aware of what you can expect. I have ordered food from this place multiple times as I live in the apartment complex next door and I love the food. However, I wouldn’t recommend dining inside.

I don’t know what was the reason for such behavior, maybe because we were non white. Whatever it was, they were wrong and the entire experience was spoiled by the staff as they were rude at all times as...
