Lovesac — Local services in Houston

My husband and I ordered a LoveSac on the 6th of June. We specifically chose a fabric they considered “quick ship”. We were told it takes a week to two week lead time for the order to ship. A couple days shy of two weeks, we decided to call the store to check the status. We were informed that the fabric is now on back order and it might take another 6 to 8 weeks for the couch to ship. We were so frustrated that we were not contacted by the store, or the warehouse, or any LoveSac department that we would have to wait that much longer. If we hadn’t called, who knows how long we would have waited. Not only did we never get contacted about this massive change, but LoveSac could not do anything to make it right. Their only option was for us to choose another fabric over the phone. We specifically had to drive a distance to buy this couch for our house in another state. So going to a store wasn’t an option. And we didn’t feel we, as the customer, should have to choose another fabric because LoveSac couldn’t deliver. We’ve been without a couch for pre than a week because LoveSac couldn’t deliver on what they advertised and they didn’t care enough to make it right. Personally, all they had to do is ship us a temporary fabric for free until ours was available. Keep in mind we would have to put the fabric on each piece, remove it, repackage it, and do the process again once we got our fabric. If you’ve never bought a LoveSac….YOU assemble every piece of it. I have wanted to own a LoveSac for a very long time and was so excited when I was finally able to afford one. I love them but I have been very disappointed with the delivery process. I bought my pieces during the Black Friday sale this year and was told I would have everything before Christmas. This was not the case. On Dec 11, I received all but one deep cover set and was informed a week later that it was on back order. After that I did not hear anything back as to when I could expect delivery. After several texts to the “care rep” and showing up to the actual store I was still only provided with minimal information and no date for delivery. For the amount of money that is spent on these items I would expect that the items would all be shipped together and that if something is on back order to be notified in advance, so that I could have the option to wait for that item to become available or choose something else. I was just notified today that my missing item will be delivered next week. Again very disappointing that a company of this size is unable to fulfill their orders in a timely and efficient manner. The customer can not fully enjoy their purchase if we have to wait 4-6wks to have a complete set!!! I was looking forward to ordering more pieces but after this experience I am not sure that it is worth it unless LoveSac changes its policy to ensure that all items are delivered together and that they are able to have an accurate account of inventory to prevent delays like the one that I am...

We ordered a sectional from the store in Baybrook mall. The service we exceptional. Very knowledgeable and helpful staff at the store. They promised delivery in six to right weeks. We received the couch in a week and a half.

Following the order, we were contacted by Priscilla, a customer service representative, who provided a map for assembly and tracked our order.

When the sactional arrived, we were missing one cover. Even after hours, their team contacted us and had the missing part sent via FedEx the next day. Fantastic service.

The couch arrived with detailed directions on the inside box cover. One note, the directions are on both sides of the box, open up both sides and read through the instructions. Covers fit tight, so line up the corners of the cover with the corners of the sides before you slide them all the way down.

Follow the build map as the locations of the peg board squares are also important to locking in the sections in place.

Overall, once you get the hang of it, the assembly is quick and easy.
