Mejuri — Local services in Houston

I am extremely disappointed with my experience. I purchased a pair of “solid gold” earrings in April for $800, trusting in Mejuri’s reputation and quality standards. After wearing them only once, my earlobe turned greenish-black within days.

I am allergic to anything that is not real gold and have never had any issues with my other gold jewelry. This has never happened before. Despite visiting Mejuri’s physical store twice, the only “solution” offered was cleaning the earrings, which did not resolve the problem.

When I submitted a warranty claim with photos, Mejuri rejected it, admitting in writing that their “solid gold” jewelry can stain the skin because of the alloys (copper/silver) used.

For a brand that markets itself as offering high-quality, genuine gold, this explanation is unacceptable. Customers spending hundreds of dollars should not experience skin staining or be told it’s “normal” for “solid gold.”

This has been a very frustrating and disappointing experience. If you are looking for true quality gold and reliable customer service, I strongly recommend thinking twice before purchasing...

Absolutely horrible customer treatment, there is such poor quality of communication as well as lack of respect for the customer in order for them to truly justify their desired wishes to the employees. The environment is very assuming and totally makes the customer uncomfortable by being seen with much prejudice. Employees can be much more open towards helping and being kind to the customers than being very careless of how they might feel when being asked a serious question. Lacking quite poorly to provide ultimate assistance and help with any questions or concerns the customer may have just like I did. I was truly most profoundly disappointed and dissatisfied with the customer service towards me when I truly adored the online store itself. Perhaps I believe there should much more attention given to the customers at the in person shop as well as it has been provided...

It has been over a year since i got my helix piercing done and it still has not properly healed and I have done the necessary steps on not sleeping on it and using solution. In addition, I their flatbacks used for piercings are too short and does not leave room for any swelling hence why I believe my helix never healed properly because of the tight jewelry. My industrial piercing I got a few months after that is already healed. I do not recommend. I came from out of town and ended up spending $100+ for the jewelry and the piercing service for me to finally make the decision to let it heal and let the money...
