Okay Ladies, If you live in the Houston area and you are NOT already booking Dana, you are missing out entirely. This sweet soul of a woman knows her stuff! I live in New York City, and I visit Houston once in a while to visit friends... But every time I visit, I make sure to book at Hi, Skin. Now, don't get me wrong- everyone that has ever gave me a facial at these God-sent facilities has been amazing; but Dana??? My good Lord, I caught the urge to move to HTX for her to solely be my main esthetician. Let me explain- I am a brown skin Latina, and recently I underwent laser hair removal on my face... my ex-esthetician for this burned me and left dark marks around my lips... I was distraught. A month after this incident, I visited Houston and booked with Dana off of reviews. I am so glad that I did. She is highly knowledgeable & has great conversation! After expressing my concerns, she concluded that a Microderm facial would do the trick, and my skin looked better immediately after the treatment. However, it's now been two weeks later, and my skin looks and feels PHENOMENAL. I bought all of the products that she recommended, yes it was costly but SO WORTH IT. My confidence is shining through me and I'm back to wearing no makeup! Thank you Dana! I will take a flight & will be back soon!

For my very first facial, yeah this was it. Kryslin, my esthetician - She was super informative. She has a nice, smooth voice that goes with the vibe of the studio. I learned a lot. I asked questions and I was just so shocked at how amazing it felt to get this done. I’ve had a massage before, a body massage, but I actually would prefer a facial. This felt refreshing and I would treat a family or friends to this. This completed my goal and intention of a self-care week. Only con for me personally is being underneath the solar thing. My ADHD, I get bored easily. Also I wish the pricing was more affordable for the products but duality, I understand it's a good product and worth it Im sure.

I love this place already! First time here today and i love it. DANA was so lovely and made sure i knew what everything she was using on my face was and answered my questions. I definitely recommend Hi Skin! If you love to get facials or new to getting facials this is where you should go. I got THE REALLY GOOD FACIAL which is perfect if it’s your first time or just trying the location itself for the first time. I also got the products she recommended to me because why not use the same products they used on me at home 🫣. I also recommend getting the membership as well if you want to continue going!

This was the worst facial I have ever had. The room itself is large and airy, so you’re having your facial along with 3-4 other people which means you can hear them and the front desk talking to customers the whole time, so not very relaxing. Typically, facials take place in quiet, dark, 1:1 rooms or at least divided spaces. Secondly, facials typically use steam to allow your pores to open up to help with extractions. Given the large airy room, and the lack of private space, there is no way steam would be able to heat up the air near your face enough to allow your pores to open. That being said, they didn’t even try to use a steam machine, just a few warm towels in between product application. Thus the extractions were obviously unsuccessful. I went in with a few blackheads in prominent places I was hoping to have extracted by a professional, however my technician didn’t even try to remove these blackheads and I left with some cursory blackheads removed on the edges of my face only, rather than my cheeks or very visible areas. So the next day, I had to do these myself and was left with a couple of pimples from incomplete extractions near my nose.

On a second note they were trying to upsell you the whole time. They pitch themselves as giving a facial customized to your skin, but each technician gave the same pitch about every customer needing dermaplaning and an infusion. Then at the end they try to sell you skin care products “customized to your face.” Honestly all this would have been fine if I had gotten a good facial, but it just felt like a cursory attempt to sell me products instead of the moisturizing and cleansing I had come to...

I had an appointment today for a Better Mini facial today with Emily. If you are unfamiliar with The Montrose Collection, give yourself a few extra minutes to find the underground parking. I received a text at 3 on the dot checking to make sure I was still coming (I was literally steps from the door). They said they will be offering parking validation but aren't set up yet. No worries. I went to La La Land Kind Cafe around the corner, and they did it for me.

It bears mentioning that I myself am an esthetician and former director of an esthetics department at a cosmetology school. Emily was really attentive and she had a firm, confident touch when applying each product narrating what she was doing every step of the way. I don't remember the names of the other product lines that they had available, but it seems she primarily used Eminence Organics during my facial and also explained the possible add-ons available and suggested products that could help with my concerns.

The only reason it's not 5 stars is that I prefer a concept with enclosed private facial beds for the ultimate relaxation. This is open concept with all the treatment beds in one common area. It's beautifully appointed and reasonably priced for the various services, but I would prefer a...
