This review is about a month due. I was desperately searching for a place I could get a silk press when I stumbled upon this gem. Ashley took her time to exam my hair and she educated me on various options. She wasn’t irritated by my one million questions. She ensured I was comfortable during the whole process. The service was spectacular. I received the Style (Anti breakage/No add on) Silk press service. She did inform me that it isn’t permanent. However, I am still rocking the style one month in. At about 2 weeks, my hair started reverting back, however, it has not shrunk all the way back. The length is still there and I only used a hot comb on it once in the 3rd week and once in the 4th week. I have 4c hair. I can still run my fingers through my hair. I didn’t maintain it the way she advised me to🥴. I did that two nights after the styling and went back to my nonchalant ways🥲. But my hair is still standing. I wear a bonnet at night, get up in the morning, brush it in 3mins and go. She gave me my confidence back and I am grateful. Man…being from Miami and coming to Houston to get my hair done has been a MISSION. There are plenty of girls who do hair here but I am TIRED of the IG girls who provide a lack of customer service, no knowledge, and no care to your natural hair. Ashley BLEW ME OUT OF THE WATER. I found her through her YouTube videos that instilled so much confidence for her to do my relaxer. She is full of knowledge!! She taught me so much about my hair and how to care for it. I was a bit nervous about going to get my hair done due to unpleasant past experiences. I booked my appointment easily over the phone, and once I arrived I received amazing service. My hair was washed, silk pressed, and cut for an amazing price. My service took about 5 hours, and I wasn’t charged additional fees. My hair looked healthy and strong at the end of the appointment.
