I usually have had a positive experience at the Petco Westchase location. I've been coming to this location for years. About a year or so ago I witnessed a disappointing and uncomfortable situation. Two white women complaining about a young African American male singing in the store. He had a beautiful voice! I heard him a couple of times and it was nothing offensive or rap if that's what you are guessing. So, I was really surprised when I saw an employee rushing towards the young man to ask him to leave. I'm glad they have been doing curbside pickup for several months now. I rather not go in especially after what I saw. And am probably going to get the repeat delivery to avoid it all together. I hate to impact several people because of the actions of one person, but administration should be up to date with things going on in our nation. Be proactive. I'm not scheduling a damn thing with you people. I tried to get a simple prescription from you guys.
A month ago I called to find out did you guys help me once before, because I genuinely forgot, and whoever I talked to couldn't find me in the system. Then I find my original receipt call back, and then miraculously, I'm findable.
It says you're open on weekends. I call, you're not there or not answering.
I ask for an e-mailed copy of my prescription only to have you somehow mess that up 3 times before I receive it. And you give me an attitude over the phone?
Then, when I do get it, it's still missing information. And when another eye professional calls to get that missing information, you give her an attitude too? You guys are the most unprofessional eye establishment I've ever been to by far.

Read moreIt is an ok shopping center, that still has some quite large, unclaimed vacancies, as evidenced by the "For Lease... xxx sq. Ft" signs in many windows. The area is hit or miss, as far as violence and danger go. The shopping center is trying to come back, and hopefully the new Whole Foods will be the injection of life this place needs. The way events unfold that establish, and maintain, at least a high perceived level of safety should be interesting. Indeed, the extremely, Fox News level conservative corporation that is "Whole Foods", coupled with the largely liberal, (and far too many "recently liberal",) customers that comprise their well monied customer base, should give genesis to an interesting paradox of authoritarian security at this shopping center.
