::::UPDATE:: I stand by my review, which reflects my personal and truthful experience. I will not remove it.
Threatening to publish my personal information and make defamatory statements is not only unprofessional but also inappropriate. I encourage you to focus on addressing customer feedback constructively rather than resorting to intimidation.
I added a screenshot of the owners Husband making threats because I posted a review on Yelp which had my nickname on it (Lola) about his behavior and my personal experience ::::
I had an incredibly upsetting experience at your salon that I feel compelled to share. While sitting with my daughter getting my nails soaked offābecause I was unhappy with the nail technicianās work, which was the complete opposite of what I asked forāI was falsely accused of theft.
The technician became visibly upset that I didnāt like the nails and wanted them removed, and I agreed to pay the $15 soak-off fee. While I was still sitting in the chair, the owner called me and claimed I hadnāt paid and that I was no longer welcome in the salon. I was completely shocked and confused by such a blatant lieāespecially considering my boyfriend was literally at the counter paying for my soak-off and pedicure at that very moment. I had already paid separately for my daughterās manicure and pedicure.
To make matters worse, one of the employees took my picture without my consent, saying it was āin case I run off.ā That kind of invasive and threatening behavior is completely unacceptable and unprofessional.
Despite the way I was treated, I still left a $10 tip for Tiffany, who was the only person that showed any courtesy or professionalism. She apologized several times for how I was being treated, and I truly appreciated her kindness.
I am a professional pilot who was only in town for a short time, and I have never experienced anything so disrespectful in any salon or business. The dishonesty, rudeness, and false accusations were beyond insulting. Being accused of theft while I was still physically present in the salon and after having paid is outrageous.
I will never return to this salon and strongly advise others to think twice before supporting a business that treats paying customers with such disrespect and dishonesty.
BELOW!!! I posted a pic of my nails sitting in my BMW that another salon in Katy tx did. This is what I requested her to do but she could not deliver the right results or shape - which led to me paying for what was already done and getting the horrible nails soaked off. I also attached 2 receipts showing I paid for what was already done by the technician. which was...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOkay, Iāve been going to this nail salon since Iāve moved here from Washington D.C. in February. I went for my birthday in August and afterwards for my nails on 8/31. They nail polish with acrylic broke off slowly, no action of my own. I go back to the shop. An coco the owners wife. In her language insults me, comes sees my nails. Speaks in her language and dares to insult my intelligence. She tells her husband, in English (which he told me) I peeled the nails off for new color. By 8/2 it begins to peel, yesterday my entire nail came off on my thumb. Instead of her asking what happened, her kind husband defends the situation and tells her. I was just there 8/31 and itās 9/5. She thought I peeled it off for new color. So I have to pay! If thatās the case, I would have complained for a new color but I requested for the same color 222.
She didnāt even speak with me.After the the first tech look, she came in and said let me see your nails. An went back to her seat talking in her language. While some of the nail techs begin laughing. Iāve been going to get my nails done paid by myself since 16. I am a 43 yr. old professional. It was unprofessional how she handled it and insulted me. As if she is racially clumping me in a population that is trying to get over. I work for a Fortune 500 company and I would never have done something ridiculous as this act. I work hard to get and achieve!
Iām appalled, upset, and I never would recommend anyone to go spend money in a place where you are excuse of something you hadnāt done. Nor mistreated and made to feel belittled.
Not to mention, the nail tech filed my nail so thin, and my nails are breaking off. When I got there I asked for SNS original from the start, and itās not. Itās dipping powder which is acrylic. SNS is more expensive then Acrylic. Half of a fraction! When I ask for it to be fixed. I didnāt request that again when asking the shop to fix the nails not for a new color. I suggest she (the owner) fix her attitude because karma will find her. I wish you all the best of luck! The nail techs are hit or miss.
For me, itās about customer service, professionalism, and cleanliness. They missed two out of three for me. So Iām done, and I donāt need a reply nor rebuttal. You embarrassed me and very lucky I left as peaceful an calm not to make a seen for your clients. For the customers witnessing this act of belligerence. I wish you all the best of luck and hopefully you will do better.
P.S.A. Lies! I never admitted to such lies. Sheās a liar. Watch where you spend your money. I couldnāt reply to her otherwise I...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreNail Boss Design Salon is a really nice nail salon ran by some Vietnamese ladies. It is a beautiful place, the ladies really do know what they are doing. The customer service is very good. My sister took me there the first time, and i was really impressed. We both did manicure amd pedicure with massage (it's like a combo package, i will share the picture of there Services and prices). I particularly love the equipment they use in taking off the shellac polish off the nails, it's so smooth and easy. The hand and leg massage you get in the process is so amazing that I was practically sleeping, that's how soothing it was. They make you so comfortable without you worrying.
Oh! I forgot to mention that as soon as you come in and tell them what you want, they sit you comfortably and bring you a catalogue of different colours of nail polish....and oh! Boy! They have alot of beautiful polish that you get so confused when you watch them. And yea, we were seated in a massaging chair also, and we were controlling the chair with some buttons by our choice of body massage.
One of the other things I love most about this place and the people is that they are never idle, they all have to be busy. One of the ladies came in while my sister and I were already been attended too, and soon as she came in, she dropped her bag and came to join the lady attending to my sister, and soon as a new customer came, she quickly rounded up what she was doing with my sister and attended to the lady quickly. They rarely keep a customer waiting for too long, even if you did not book appointment with them. You do not waste time there at all!
So, I could have given them a 5 star š since it looks like a love them so much, but no, I'm taking back a star because I do not like the fact that they charge you an extra $15 to take off the shellac nail polish you have on, even if it was done by them. I don't think this is really cool at all. Imagine where I had to pay $30 to take of both hands and feet. Yea, hence why they have 4 stars from me.
Other than that, NailBoss Design Salon is a lovely place to have...
