I have been to Wolfies several times and the last 3 times the service wasn't great. Today, we had to wait almost 10 minutes before anyone came to our table to take our drink order. There were about 5 people standing by the kitchen just talking while we were waiting. The next irritating thing that happened was when the waitress brought our drinks, she touched the tip of my unwrapped straw to readjust it in my drink...which maybe that's not a big deal, but I don't usually care for people's hands to be in my food or drink like that. Then the waitress proceeds to take our order and walks away from the table before she took my son's order. I tried to call out to her, but she kept walking, so I had to go to the kitchen area and tell her my son's order. When my son's cheese pizza arrived....we all busted out laughing because it was about the size of my hamburger bun and we thought it was a joke. The tiny pizza was not only partly soggy --it didn't come with fries or anything--we were totally shocked! She refilled our drinks, but again, basically ignored my son--she never refilled his drink or even asked if he needed a refill. There were a few other minor things that happened that aren't worth mentioning---I was trying not to be picky-- I am usually laid back and I try to be understanding, but it wasn't that busy in the restaurant and it just seemed like everyone was too busy to hang out and talk instead of care about the customers--and since it was like one annoying thing after another, it was hard to be understanding. So the service was absolutely terrible and we will not be going back. **The one positive thing I have to say is that my burger was really good.**

A family of four went out for dinner and, after ordering our meals, we unexpectedly received two salads. At first, we thought it was a mix-up, either because the waitress confused our order or because the meals came with salads. But soon, we realized they weren’t actually meant for us. The waitress, looking flustered, tried to take the salads back to deliver them to the correct table. By that point, we had already started eating them, so I told her that we’d be happy to keep them and pay for them. She still seemed upset, but I reassured her, suggesting she could add them to our bill. About ten minutes later, the manager arrived at our table, and instead of a friendly approach, he had an attitude. He insisted that we had to pay for the salads, emphasizing that they weren’t "just any salads" but the chef’s specialty, which costs an additional $5 each. The manager’s persistence over two $5 salads while interrupting our meal became tiresome. I finally told him to bring us the bill and charge whatever would make them happy. It’s disappointing to think that the owner’s business is being managed by people who seem to lack basic customer service skills and the judgment to handle minor misunderstandings gracefully.

Here on a quiet evening during the week, Monster Trucks entertaining us on numerous TVs after ordering. This is the first time visiting this Wolfie's and it was our server's 3rd day so we tried to go easy on her. I thought double fried wings sounded crispy and interesting so I ordered them in my usual spicy and sweet combo, since there are no spicy dry rub options. You cannot order any of the BBQ sauces for double frying. Today was .99 cent wings bone in or boneless, I went traditional. I ordered some carrots/celery w ranch on the side along with my usual light beer - noting there was no 20 oz option on tap. I have to day, despite having no dry rubs, the double fried traditional wings were plump and crispy, and too hot to hold initially, just the way I like em. It took awhile to get the order, probably because the double frying bit. Was it worth the wait? Absolutely. These were really good. The only reason I'm not giving five stars is the lack of dry options other than lemon pepper. I would come back again.

This place has terrible service. Servers sit down in the booth to take your order. Unacceptable, unprofessional, and unreasonable management AKA Scott did not understand why the behavior may be inappropriate to a customer that is spending their money at this establishment!!! Here's the story...

Our waitress decided to come and sit down with me and girlfriend and take our order. I ask, "do you normally sit down with customers while at work?" She proceeds to tell me she's trying to "make friends". Doesn't get up nor ask if I'm uncomfortable with her sitting down across from us with my girlfriend present. She finishes taking our order sitting down but it just doesn't sit right with me, so when she comes back I ask to speak to the manager.

I speak to the manager, Scott, whom I fill in on the situation. He tells me they like to be friendly, and they allow their servers to sit and be casual with the customers. He tried to tell me that they don't like to tower over customers when they are asking for their orders. Haha, restaurants have been doing this for the last 200 years Scott, don't fix something that isn't broken. I tell him we're going to take our business else where, as he walks away I hear him saying, under his breathe I mind you, about trying chilli's out. Gladly Scott, you're the worst customer service manager I have ever come in contact with and you have lost Wolfie's a potential life long customer.

P.S. To whomever our waitress was, make friends on your own time, not while you're on the clock...

The food was ok and the service was good, the waitress was prompt with refills on the beverages and checked to see if we needed anything, everything was going great right up until it came time to pay the bill. The waitress came by a final time to check on us and I told her that we were ready to pay the bill, she never returned with the bill, we waited a total of ten minutes trying to be patient assuming she might have gotten busy with other customers but the place wasn't packed at all. So finally we went to the reception area near the front door and I said to the young lady sitting there " excuse me". Her reply was " yeah, what's up"? I told her the situation and she went to find out waitress but came back by herself, she took the payment, but there was no apology or explanation for the long wait. I enjoyed everything about the experience there right up until this all took place. The waitress was doing so well and I was going to leave a great tip, but she dropped the ball bug time at the end, and the young lady that did take my payment seemed like she didn't care either way. This is a restaurant in my neighborhood that I wanted to help support, but the attitudes of some have turned me off to this location, so I'd rather travel a little farther to another location to hopefully deal with a wait staff that posses better people skills. Really wish this could have gone in a...
