I agree with ALL of the bad results. If I could score these people a zero I would. I like most of you were very excited to move into these apartments. Within 30 days after I moved in the management team changed and the leasing manager changed again like 4 months later.
I could not wait until my lease was up. Paid $1900 a month to look at trash piled up at every dumpster several days a week. My car was vandalized and I called the office and they said that I had to contact HPD for them to have access to their own cameras smh. Then the agent that filled out the report sId he would get everything wrote up and to the property manager and i should hear something back in about 2 days. I waited for a week and reached out several times and NO ONE ever responded to me and even sent by the office and filled out another report with the assistant manager Alba and STILL NO RESPONSE.
A few months later, I put in a work order to have my toilet fixed in the master bathroom, for 3 months the maintenance crew kept saying it was complete and that they changed parts which never happened. I put in a total of 3 work orders for the same toilet for over 30 days and still kept showing completed but never took place.
Then I had my firearm stolen from my apartment and spoke to Alba (assistant manager) again and called HPD and got a report and emailed their company corporate office. I had described and told Alba of an employee that came into my apartment while I was there with plastic gloves on and did not knock on the door nor have a work order to complete. When asked him why was he in my apartment he got nervous and said coming to check my toilet that was still never fixed. When I reported him to Alba that my fireRm was missing, and described the guy, the property manager called me and said that they guy was a temporary employee and they let him go even though he said he did not steal my firearm. I said how can a temporary employee have master keys to peoples property instead of assisting someone who currently works there. No answer from the manager.
I even came out one morning to go to work and my doormat had been stolen. Emailed the office with a picture like below and NO ONE once again responded and said nothing.
Furthermore I was not reimbursed for my firearm nor did I hear anything back from no one from the corporate office.
So I told them I WOULD NOT be renewing my lease.
Now that I am gone even though nothing was wrong with my apartment, my $300 deposit now is being held for foolishness that they stated like normal dirt in the carpet.
So I agree RUN and do not waste your tome as you will not be happy at this place for the money that you pay.
I normally do not write reviews but this BY FAR has been the WORSE EXPERIENCE that I have ever faced in my life at a place I...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWorse place you can possibly live in Houston. They were great until you moved in and signed the lease, after that, you didn't exist. When we moved in we found that our oven was broken (no big deal, it still turned on but only on degree C), we submitted a work order and nothing happened. No one came by or even responded to us; we submitted 3 more work orders over the course of a month and still no answer, we finally walked down and submitted one in person, instead of calling, and they said they never recieved a work order for our oven. We waited again for another month and still no one, so we went down and submitted a 5th work order, since apparantly they didn't have a record of our 4th work order (submitted in person) on file. This went on for about 6 months, on the 5th month mailed a letter (certified mail) stating I will fix it myself and deduct the cost from my monthly rent, then i will cancel my lease and move out (this is perfectly legal, they violated the lease and Texas real estate laws). After that a letter, it was about 2 days when they finally showed up and replaced the whole panel of our oven. The second experience, our dishwasher clogged up and we submitted a work order, they did show up in a timely manner but said they fixed it when it turns out they didn't. We submitted 3 work orders, every time they said they fixed it but all they were doing is draining the water. I gave up and went ahead and bought the parts and fixed the dishwasher myself, deducting $50 from my rent (again, this is legal). Third experience, when we moved in we gave them a deposit check from my bank back in Oklahoma, i told them that i was going to be closing the account in 3 weeks so cash the check and notify me when you have done so. They called me about a week later and said all checks have gone through so i canceled my account; 8 or 9 months later i get a call saying that the deposit check i wrote them when i moved in wouldn't go through, turns out they didn't cash it and were wanting me to write them a new check. I told them that this was there fault and that i wasn't going to write them a new check and they agreed. Last experience, we moved out in June and they said we will be getting back our full deposit in a few weeks to a month. A month passed, no check. I called once or twice a week for three weeks to ask about my check; every time i called there was some excuse about why they can't help me today and i have to call back. Even now, i have not recieved my deposit back and will give one more week until i file a small claims case for my deposit (I've had to do this in the past, its easy). Do not live here, there's a place down the street called The Ava which...

Downgrading my rating to 4 stars to 1.
So please read this carefully if you don't want to be regretting later like me. When I moved here in 2016, I was told by one of their best leasing agent that if I pay an upfront SecurDeposit of 131$ (NON-REFUNDABLE) it will save me to avoid paying the Security Deposit whenever I have to leave the community. Me and my wife decided that since we usually end up paying up around that amount when you exit the amount for cleaning and other MISC charges, we okay'ed and signed the agreement of 50 pages...(Not reading every single line of those terms and conditions they have got hidden inside).
This is 2019 and we decided to move on to other place, and Now the real drama begins. I got a call from their assistant manager followed by talking to manager saying that I have a closing fees of $340. I was shocked and asked her the details and upon confirmation I was told they have to charge me Carpet replacement , HEAVY CLEAN, Ozone treatment whatever was their coming to their mind. Attaching a screenshot so you guys will know the truth. When i asked why i have to pay because I already paid the nonrefundable SecurDeposit, the manager informed that SecurDeposit definition doesn't cover any "APARTMENT Cleaning" fees instead it was a one time deposit that you just give it to the community so that you dont have to pay a 300$ deposit.
Now as the leasing agent was still working there I immediately started talking to her but she also took a U TURN and said that it was my misunderstanding that SecurDeposit will cover all the closing charges. Wish I have had a recording of that conversation. Now as I am standing today, I have lost that 131 $ plus they have charged me unnecessary 340$.
When we guys left we cleaned each room like it was our home not trying to leave any damage, wear and tear and cleaned the home to best of our ability. I was a respectful and obedient citizen of this community but still they to did this to me. So disappointed with my entire experience and have lost my TRUST in words of individual and CHEESY and fake words.
I know I am not the only one who faced this situation as you will find other comments as well facing similar charges. PLEASE BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN YOU HAVE TO EXIT APARTMENT .. TAKE AS MANY PICTURES AS YOU CAN AND VIDEO RECORDING if you dont want to pay...
