Duck Creek Quarry Park — Local services in Howard

This was a nice safe place to take my kids before the improvements were made and it was promoted to Green Bay and the surrounding area. This year it was overcrowded, garbage everywhere, waiting lines for the bathroom, fights, vandalism, disruptive behavior/roughhousing.. because it was unregulated and understaffed for Security. I was looking forward to checking out this place and possibly swimming in the quarries. The minute we arrived after only standing on the lookout we were met by the police patrolling the park. They were quite rude telling us that we had to have wrist bands to swim. I was more than willing to pay for the right to swim for the day while visiting Wisconsin. But you had to be a resident. The quarry used to be amazing when it wasn't popular years ago. Still is great for swim training, and swimming in general but not as much as before.

The “improvements” have kind of ruined it. It is unfortunately way too busy and popular now unless you go in the early morning when it isn't busy.

Now that it's only open to Howard residents it's an insult to non-residents who used the Quarry previously...
